I don't know if this is in the right place, but whatever. Anyway.

So I keep having trouble recruiting Morinth. I'm a really high Paragon, but I can never seem to be able to say the Paragon option when she's seducing you in her apartment. What do I do?

How high exactly (number of bars) is your paragon and how far are you into the game? 2 and a half bars are usually enough for me after the Collector Ship.

I'm actually past the Morinth mission now, but I'm usually two or three bars into Paragon by the time I get to her mission.

The persuasion system doesn't work on the number of bars or how filled your paragon/renegade is, it's based on paragon/renegade percentage gained. It's a system that only benefit pure sided players. I'm not even counting that the persuasive passive evolution which seem to do quite the difference.

In one playthrough did I fully persuade morinth, and that was because I imported with a paragon bonus, acted paragon and did this mission as early as possible (the less opportunnity to gain paragon/renegade, the more chance you can be succesful with persuasion)

The only way I am able to recruit Morinth is by importing a Shepard from ME1 with the paragon/renegade bonus. I've never been able to do it with a non-imported Shepard.

^I use imported Sheps, so do I just stick with the same path that I went in ME1? Meaning, since my main Shep was renegade in ME1, should I stay renegade to get a chance and recruit her?

Fully resisting Morinth is probably the hardest persuade in the game regardless of whether paragon or renegdade.
You pretty much have to max your "class skill" and pick the 100% bonus to persuade in order to do so
(the lesser bonus of the other option may be enough)
