Okay before people start calling this a Kung Fu panda rip off let me tell you that Blizzard introduced Panderan Brewmaster first in Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne. It came out before stupid Kung Fu panda.

Now with that out of the way, I personally think that if that's Blizzard's answer to Star Wars Old Republic then it's pretty sad.  Once again , R.I.P WORLD OF WARCRAFT 2004-2008.

For awhile I was thinking that this is the silliest thing ever. Then some people told me that pandaren have been in the warcraft lore since WC2. I'm glad they sorted me out. That totally changed everything.

It's real, but the fact that an entire expansion centers around a joke race is a joke by itself.

With the expansion being called Pandaria i'm guessing the new mining mineral is going to me called unobtainium or something. Oh well I left this game ages ago. Like the above posts said, bring on TOR/GW2.

Seriously though, I'm kind of intrigued by their overhauling the talent system. It's pretty much gotten to the point now where there's only one way to build each spec anyway, actually spending all the points is just a formality. Hopefully the new system can offer a bit more freedom.

I may actually renew my WoW sub when this hits just to check it out. I doubt I'll stay for the whole expansion, but I'm curious. And in the interests of doing this expansion some justice: Infos.

They're also offering "Free Diablo III" and Celestial Steed 2.0 (well, technically its called Tyrael's Charger or something) with annual subscription to WoW. They seem to be getting a little bit desperate.

LMAO Blizzard just wont let it die. Their answer to anything is to throw another expansion out. Because god knows a higher lvl cap will fix all the problems from WotLK.
Damn and to think I was this close to getting Cataclysm last year. Gosh if I trade in my PS3 now I can get maybe 2 months.
F that I am done with paying a monthly subscription.

Yes sad but true.  I know some pretty cool people who play nothing but WoW and I have moved on over 3 years now and all these great games I been playing.  I wasted 3 years of my life on that game and looking back it wasn't worth it.

Blizzard has this coming for an entire year they let Ghostwalker free to do as he pleases. In wraith all his bad ideas were rejected and with Cata he made it into a hardcore hard game that everyone quit maybe because we expected more?

This. One problem I think Blizzard is running into is that between Burning Crusade-Cataclysm, they have killed off most major villains who were developed in the RTS series. With all those villains dead, what should they based a new expansion around? Based on what's released, there doesn't seem to be any central conflict to follow, which also reduces the "epic" factor. The Pandarens, imo, were not a great way to go if Blizzard's goal is to recover sales.

There was a guy on the TOR forums who said he was going to go to Blizzcon and reveal his Old Republic t-shirt at a strategic moment.  This would have been a perfect time.
