Check out the trailer for the new series airing next week on G4, Bomb Patrol. I was involved in post production on the project, and it is a legitimately must watch show. Cameramen were embedded for 5 months with an EOD team in Afghanistan. They returned with approximately 5000 hours of raw footage, which I've spent countless hours digesting the past several months (I'm an assistant in the editing department).
Give it a watch, and your time will be well rewarded. The show is an honest look at everyday life as a bomb tech in a war zone. It alternates between funny, thoughtful, chilling, and terrifying, while remaining free of polarizing overtones.
And there is a LOT of big explosions.
