"I say the Normandy will turn into a Reaper."
What's your opinion.

The biggest twist is that none of this ever happened. ME3 ends with Jenkins dying on Eden Prime. The events of the trilogy are just a fantasy Jenkins had in the seconds before his death. Before the lights fade completely, you see Geth probes take out both Shepard and Kaiden as well, letting the audience know that the trilogy will never happen and the Reapers will win.

That or because Shepard got exposed to the Prothean beacon he can use some crazy **** all weapon. Or there's a good reaper that fights with you, or Shepard is indoctrinated. None of those would surprise me.
Oh yeah, and if the Normandy (or EDI) turned out to be a Reaper, I'd stop playing on principle.

If everything that happened was a fantasy, wouldn't that mean that the Reapers aren't real either?Zanallen wrote...

Jenkins dreamed them too. The geth just launched an unprovoked war on organics.

In the real version, the Reapers are just highly advanced Geth battleships that utilize the Geth hivemind.

And then it shoots out of Jenkins's mind and you've acctually been playing a caveman running around the forest, high on mushrooms, tripping his or her balls off.

1. The Council knew about the Reapers since ME1 and have been preparing for their arrival (possible, would be nice from Shepard's point of view).
2. The Reapers are turning organics into Reapers to face a greater threat (IMO this would be super lame).
3. Ceberus/The Illusive Man isn't really working for the Reapers (likely, at least the Illusive Man probably isn't)

1. Thats not really a big twist.
2. I dont think so...The reason is will be tied in some way with Cerberus.
3. Cerberus working for the reapers is not the shocker....Its the reason WHY that is.
ME3 will have the biggest twist and turns that any of the others. Most likley the twist will also involve the protheans.

I wouldn't be surprised if it involved an explanation for why humans, asari, and several other alien species have similar body and facial features - origin of species through common descent.
And it's the Reapers! Dun Dun Dun!!
I'll bet there'll be a big twist/discovery on one of the allies actually being indoctrinated by the Reapers during the mid game. Also, the process of indoctrination itself will be revealed at a base technological level. Meaning that it can be reverse engineered, adapted and ultimately, replicated. So your Deus Ex Machina for beating the Reapers is right there - Indoctrination.
Using their own technology against them. Irony.
