Lately when I enter the multiplayer, nearly always Arelith doesn't appear for me, and slowly all the other servers disappear as well. It's not that they appear offline, it's that they don't appear at all. If I leave the game open for long enough, I come back and I see only just two servers in the entire list. Just two. I try restarting my router, I try restarting my computer, I reinstalled the game (GOG version), and this problem persists. Occasionally the servers appear, but more often than not they don't.

Happens with me as well. The solution is to add this Arelith to your favorites list and it'll always be there for you when you return.

When you run a Traceroute can you tell which node is dropping the ping?
Some times it's just a function of where your machine is located with respect to the hosting server. There's not much you can do under those situations, unfortunately.
