Hi, i have installed and played BG2:SoA  on my win7 pc without  any problem (run on compatuibility mode). I install ToB without any error message but for some reason now i cannot play the game! if i try to patch ToB i have a message error "game not installed" or something similar. i run the installer from the cd not from the autoplay and the game is not installed in programs folder but in c:\\BG2.

any idea? or i have to play only bg2 without the expansion?

Did you do something like install one part as administrator and the other part not as an administrator?

I would copy the save folder contents to somewhere safe, uninstall the game then install SOA, add your save games back to the folder, then install ToB and patch it. Trying to work out what is wrong is probably harder than that. c:\\BG2 is a good choice, assume you are aware that program files introduces other issues.
