Hmm... FF Tactics, various FE titles, Some of the Records games. Thats about it though, well I think Enchanted Arms counts toward this as well.

I just got finished playing 12 hours of Alpha Centauri non-stop. Where did the day go? Point is, Alpha Centauri is fantastic. Time vampire though. And I don't think it's very similar to Ogre Battle or Fire Emblem, if my memory serves me correctly.
It's not in space, but the game takes place on another planet in a sci-fi environment where the future of mankind is to be determined by a number of factions with different ideals. I haven't played Civilization 1 through 3 so I couldn't say if it's much like them(I assume it's very similar), but it's pretty similar to Civ 4 and 5. Building your civilization, diplomancy, ideals, setting your goals/winning conditions, etc. But with a greater emphasis on philosophy.
