So I am trying to do the quest "Unrest in the Alienage", and I have cleared out the hospice and freed the elves and gotten the note.

My journal says I should talk to Shiann, and when I do she tells me that I need to check out the back alleys, but my journal won't update.  It just keeps telling me I need to talk to her and she repeats the dialouge, even after I have completed the apartments section.  Any one else have this problem, know a fix?

I went through the apartments, freed the elves, and and got the documents from the mage. The problem is I did not get the key to the hospice either by killing the guys in the front of the hospice or bribing the guy in the back. As a result, I cannot complete this quest and am stuck on "find the missing elves". It says I need to go talk to Shianni but when I talk to her she does enter into a dialog or anything. This looks like a bug. Any idea how I can complete this quest. Thanks.

i'm having the same problem as leo. i know this was posted a while ago, but i'm hoping someone will have figured out how to fix it, otherwise i get to go back 16 hours of gameplay!!! yay!!!........
