Oh, yes, that skeleton was pretty nasty.

I can't make any promises yet, but I may help to playtest the module if I have some time when it's ready. I'll keep a look on this thread if there are news about it.

Good job on the skeletons. It is always more fun to get some variety. Do you have any stumpy skeletal dwarves for me to blast into pieces?

Ha! I did make a high-powered dwarven skeleton near the end of The Halls of Hamhock. Trying to communicate with him and avoid combat was a wiser course of action for most.

Harumph!

I really want to play your mods when I get The Wizard's Apprentice II out.  I'll be due for some rest.

Edinmoor is very good imo. I like the dungeon areas especially.

Do dwarven skeletons still have beards?

Here's some new screenshots. Poking around with third level heroes. I guess that means I'm about 1/3 through this campaign.

And no, dwarven skeletons don't have beards. Yes, they do have flagons. If you can pry 'em from their cold dead hands.

Harumph!

What does someone in a third-level party say when they walk into a room with a circle of six ogres surrounding them?

Four more ogres and you'd have a combined IQ of 10.

Six of you? Could have sworn it was more by the smell.

Dwarf - One ... two ... threee..
Elf (interjects) - There's six of them alright ... Six!
Dwarf - You sure elf?
Halfling - He's right but only if you count heads, there's twelve if you count knees. I like to count knees.
Human - I guess you don't really have too much choice in that.
Halfling - Nope, not if you don't want a stiff neck.

Heh, these are great. I haven't done the conversation yet, so I will be able to work in the above suggested responses.

I did fight that battle, leaving the ogres as hostiles. It can be won, but it was an exciting encounter.

How did I get surrounded?

PC: Performance check: Tired of those breezy loincloths? Try some pantaloons!
(success)
NPC: The ogres look around in confusion. A particularly smelly one appears distracted by the results of his index finger's recent foray into his left nostril.
PC: Don't just stand there, quickly, quickly, my wagon is outside. We have reds, blues, greens, browns - yes that will match your toenails nicely!
NPC: The ogres begin to stupidly shuffle out the door, dazzled by your quick wit and showmanship.

You know, the thought I had when I looked at that screenshot was the wizard saying:

"Wait... why am I in front?"

Is there a Grunk here? I have a wagon load of pickled dwarf outside for him. His crew is supposed to unload it. I'm just the driver.

No problem! I've still got a ways to go. I saw in the other thread you might like a more combat focused direction. The battles are set up in such away to require tactics and offer a variety of opponents for the characters as they progress through the adventure.

Im with Alupinu on this, im very taken by this. See we are on the same page with the 6 people party system :).
I need to race on getting Elements Of Alma back up. Im so ashamed it corrupts so easily.
I'm sure you don't need my "good luck". So congrats and may good things rise from your mod :)

Thank you! 6 person parties do have a special place for me, going back to our old PnP gaming group and some of the earlier cRPGs.

However, I do recognize that some people prefer to run with a small er party of perhaps 4 characters. I am thinking by starting with 2nd level characters, a player could use a smaller party. When I'm ready for playtesting, if anyone is so inclined, that's probably an area where I could use some feedback.

I've always like the 6-man party (reminds me of BG) but NWN(2)'s setup doesn't really lend itself to it, IMO. You need wider walkways, and it's harder to control people. If it works though, awesome.

By the way, The Fred, those are your hit point/portrait bars for the custom UI, aren't they? Or am I thinking of something else? If so, I should give you proper credit. They were packaged with BartjeD's turnbased combat system, and I've had it in the override folder since last year. I kinda like them, and have been playing with those party portraits ever since.
