Great news! Hope you can find somehow the film grain texture.
While in Vanilla was useful for hide the blurry textures, with the HD version is not needed. Nevertheless, I'm curious about that new version of the film grain.

Oh, and about the character creation, I saw also the quick change of the HD version of the N7 female suit into the lowest version. It happened when I choose fast the female shepard. Also, after customize until the end a male Shepard and then back to the start, then both the male and female N7 armor were in low res. Pretty strange bug. Seems that somehow it reset the texture to default.

And about the new versions of the .mod, it will be necessarty to install them all? just the last parts? Is there any problem installing them over the previous version?

Ha! Found it. Maybe I should be less pessimistic... It seems there's another class of texture called: TextureFlipBook of which the film grain is a member. Export number 87348 of BIOC_Materials.u, name: FG_Noise_FlipBook. Apparently it works by taking a single texture at 512px, then subdividing it into 4 smaller versions then rapidly changing between each one. That's how it makes it look like it's constantly changing. I'll add this new class to the list of allowed classes in Texplorer and then you'll be able to mod it as well.

Amazing! everything is now covered that was previously by TexMod and there are zero draw backs unlike TexMod!

Saltisgood do you think the 2d images on the squad mate select screen are in a similar unknown format? I can't seem to find them, the title screen, or any menu textures for that matter and I would love to try and re-texture those aswell.

I would have thought they were just regular texture objects by the look of them. But if you can't select it with TexMod then it's probably not a DirectX texture (I haven't checked yet). Looking at the main menu I think might be a bust. If you go into CookedPC\\Packages\\GUI\\GUI_PC_MainMenu.upk, then the only object inside it is something called PCMainMenu, which is apparently a BioSWF. That implies it's some kind of flash construct. And with a data size of 1.2MB that could be it. This is all speculation from me, but that's what it seems like.

ok no worries, definitely not needed. I just thought of a few cool things that maybe could have been done. But I never could log them with TexMod so I suspect you are correct.

Okay, so today I noticed in the iconic shot with Garrus ash and Wrex when Shepard first takes command, Garrus' and Wrex's faces suffer from the low res, its only in this scene in fact after the dialogue is over and if i use fly cam to go over to them, they are crystal clear. I'm wondering if its the same as the low res armor bug when first creating a character. Is it possible the game is loading mipmap slots rather than resolutions and it varies per scene? If this is the case limiting mipmaps to say 3, keeping 4096 textures at 1024 minimum could fix the issue. I would only do this for trouble textures: N7 armors, Saren's face, Garrus' face and Wrex's face. Because if I did it for everything it would really hurt performance on some systems.

Is this possible to implement Saltisgood?

Katana - A little tricky since there are parts added like XDX6 and Pulse Controls, kept the light in same place since in ME3 it on the attached XDX6 piece.

Why not host them as a project (with download links) here on BSN, too?

M-27 Scimitar - Most obvious difference here is the back end of the shotgun, little confusing on the middle area.

I have aquestion about Shepard's default face - the one thah you have in your signature. It says it's the face from ME3 but is it integrated with the stuff Saltsgood added (5links) or is it a part of the new release ?

I've seen the beautiful armor that femShep wears on your ModDB Page, is that already converted to .mod or can I find the TPF somewhere as a separate file so I can convert it to a mod ?
