Because I faced her yesterday... Matriarch Benezia could use a new makeup too ;)

After ME1 playthrough I finally installed Win7 today. Just to be sure ME2 runs smooth ;)

Benezia added to the list. ME2 seems to just run better in general but I do enjoy windows 7.

OP - would you clarify for me that the full pack now has everything up to date? I actually found Liaras face was screwed up without loading her mod as well - if not, can you tell me what else I should be loading? I downloaded the Fullpack on yesterday (feb9) @9pm est.

Kudos for your excellent work - BW should $reward$ you and JeanLuc, & incorporate your work into full hi-rez patches - I would take long odds on BW being able to recoup by charging the likes of me for such dlc - would gladly part with an andy jackson...

one thing else - did you ever notice the odd coloration on inventory screens, and rarely HD and radar - no big thing but wonder if its just my system...

Yes those weird glitches are from TexMod as far as I know we have to live with them :\\
Thanks for speaking of me with JeanLuc, but he is far better than I am and he is also what inspired me to try and make this mod. I loved his work and was blown away when I saw the ME2 mods but I was sad little was done for ME1 and after a year of waiting I decided to try to mod myself. So thank you I consider that quite the compliment. :)

As for $$ that would be nice of course but it's not allowed here and also I enjoy the fact that people enjoy my work.  Appreciation and the fact that people are playing the game with textures I worked on is enough for me.

So the file is uploaded and a little smaller, I fully tested and it appears I had some bloat textures in the other pack because it was larger and was missing the Liara textures...Sorry about that, but it should be all good now ;)

About to start a full runthrough of me1/me2/dlc to prepare a MaleShep for March 6th. I have a powerful pc and want to take advantage of it for a sharper mass effect 1 experience, is this the mod to get?

So far its the most comprehensive for ME1 and the only mod that's pretty much an overhaul. Give a try and let me know what you think.

I download Texmod and the full pack, where do I go from there? Longtime modder, new to Texmod and Mass Effect modding though. I have the Steam copy of ME1.

Go here: http://social.biowar...8/index/5314761 and look under steam users section, he gives a good tutorial on how to set it up.

AVG has been insane lately just this week I saw it think Symantec was a virus :P...the software seems to be going downhill, it's just too sensitive. I'm pretty sure all the files here are screened and virus free, but I know for sure TexMod (if downloaded from the link on the first page of this forum topic) is virus free.

Keep getting a runtime error during the black screen launch. It managed to get to the main menu once but crashed when I tried to adjust settings. Ideas?

Apply this patch:

http://www.techpower...ad.php?t=112556

Download the zip link in the first post. It's LAA Large address aware patch for any program, it allows it to use ore than 2 gigs of ram, I suspect you are crashing because the game is going over 2 gigs of ram usage. Download the file, run and then select the Masseffect.exe and apply. This has worked for many people so far. Good luck and please let me know how it works and if you need more help.

Which files should I be designating with the Large Address Aware thing? I had it authorize the "MassEffecttexmod.exe" as instructed by the walkthru link you supplied. Still hung up while launching a new career.

Working successfully now with the Large Address aware patch. A bit glitchy though - undulating textures at Shepherd's neckline and glitchy, unreadable text in the subtitles and Loot from time to time. Also, game crashed when the geth attached me after speaking to Powell on the Eden Prime cargo bay.

Yes MassEffect.exe for LAA. Small text, hud, and map glitches are a result of using TexMod with any mod, there's no way to avoid it, but it is random and only occasional. Undulating Textures at neck lines is something I see with or with out TexMod it seems mesh or polygon based and I'm not sure of the cause. As for your crash, make sure your Bioengine.ini is not too heavily tweaked. Only use the 3 LOD tweaks on the first page here, and if you need a screen resolution tweak and Shadow depth bias tweak. Other tweaks found online were causing me to crash and random parts of the game. I hope this helps, good luck.
