EDIT for clarity:

Bought Bioware points on Origin where it said they are used in all Bioware games. Purchase page had Xbox logo on it.

Cannot use them to buy Mark of the Assassin for Dragon Age II on Xbox 360. EA customer support does not understand issue. Contacted Bioware employee who asked for more details, but never responded afterwards.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you want to buy something on the XBOX Marketplace you need Microsoft Points, not Bioware points, which I believe are only good for PC/Mac versions of the games.

If you bought them online I don't know where I would even point you to go looking. Good luck though.

Yeah, I understand that now, but the page to buy Bioware points has the xbox logo right on it and simply says: Buy points for use in bioware games. That's what the origin website says too.

I play bioware games on my xbox though, so bioware points will be forever useless to me.

Try writing to Bioware Game Support. Link can be found under the help section at the bottom of the screen. And as the poster above me said, Bioware Points are to be used with pc/mac versions of the game. For Xbox you'll need Microsoft Points.

I tried contacting EA support, but they told me Mark of the Assassin is only available for PC.. so yeah, good luck explaining anything more complex than that.

Once again to reiterate: EA support was unable to help me due to being hopelessly confused by issue twice.
