Yes, blatant advertising.......:P      I've been working on 376 mods/retexts of original Bioware models to fit in with the TNO theme.  I should have these up on the vault within the week.  Small hak since textures are already present in 1.69 patch.  Hope you like 'em.

Very cool looking preview. And I don't mind blatant advertising of new content...how else are we supposed to learn about your stuff?

Great stuff - similar to some of the placeable reskins we did with Q (although we replaced just the default textures). Are these new - added models - or overrides?

They are the original Bioware models that have been run thru CleanModels (most of them), then reworked with gmax to get the look(s) I wanted based upon the available textures in the 1.69 patch.  They are 'new' models in regards to the placeables.2da file, as there are many variants on the original model (usually at least 4 variants per model type).

I didn't do an override since I would have had to pick 1 of the usually 4 variants for the override, although it should be easy to do if someone wants it.  I simply modified the models to be named (internally and externally) with increments alphabetically (eg.  plc_x123.mdl became plc_x123a.mdl, plc_x123b.mdl, etc.).  So pick the one you want for an override, edit it with a text editor and remove the alphabetic increment, then drop into the override folder.

I tried not to duplicate any texturing that TomB had done for the Q placeables based on the screenshots on the vault.  Hopefully I succeeded.

Oh, and right clicking on the sample image to 'View Image' in your browser gives a much more detailed shot than the BBCode preview in the message itself.  B)

Good show - always a bonus to have more variants available. I know for my module I've wound up redoing over a hundred placeables (both overrides and variants) just to get the variety I need to blend into the tilesets I'm using.

IMO nothing looks worse than a placeable whose texture scheme isn't remotely related to the tileset into which its placed. This collection should go a long way to improving things in that regard.

Lovely! It's such a shame to use dowdy old placeables in the latest tilesets. These will fit in nicely!

Looking really good. If I might make a suggestion, you should contact Six about potentially adding this stuff to Project Q. The art style really synchs up well with what Q has done already.

Well I can't say as I was massively thrilled at the original screenshots in this thread, but the ones in your last two posts are wonderful. Good work. The bread and those candles especially, and those butterflies are great.

Those butterflies are amazing! I tried to do something like that for the statuary garden challenge and wow was it beyond my abilities. I'll be delaying finishing up the placeable hak upgrade for Mythos just so I can get those butterflies.

well me I personally think bioware nailed it with that original loaf of bread, I mean c'mon who wouldn't want to eat that delicious looking block of wood..err i mean bread.

what everyone else said, the butterflies are fantastic, the bread is soo real it might actually grace my PW's tables instead of said blocks of wood that are currently passing as ....edible.

Just in time for my first plc hak :)

Any chance of these beds becoming walkable at a later time?

Jenna, beds can only be walkable if they are part of a tile. The pwk of a placeable only defines where walking is not possible.

Could Jenna simply delete the pwk for these particular bed placeables and then be able to walk through them?

FP!

Yes, but I think her intention is to actually make them useable.  As in be able to lay down on them.
