Someone commented my video



and claimed that Isabela wouldn't  give up the dagger in her/his playthrough if you give her the choice.

So Im asking you if you had that case in your playthrough.

I would probably think, that if you do the DLC before act 3 Isabela  wants to keep her dagger. (Before the incident with the Arishok)

So did you take Isabela with you and give her the choice to keep the dagger? And did she keep it?

I let her do what she want with it. She traded it for 3 disloyal sea dogs.

I just told her to give it up and she did.

My Hawke gave her the option to do with it as she pleased - Isabela opted to release the pirates from the curse. And they showed up later to assist in the fight against Cahir (I wouldn't define them as currently disloyal, all things considered).

In that playthrough however, Isabela was a LI, at max friendship, so that may have had something to do with how she responded.

She said it not me. And same for me, max friend, LI, ect.

If you do the quest in act 1, she may want to keep the dagger.

Isabela supposedly runs off with the Qunari tome if you don't have 50% friendship or rivalry. Maybe the dagger quest works the same way but when I did Isabela was 100% friendship like you so it is just my theory.

I had her as a maxed out friendmance too. She chose to free the pirates. Maybe next time i'll tell her to keep it and see if she does or if her act 3 conscience kicks in.

I had her maxed out as just a friend with Merrill as my LI and she gave up the dagger, so romance as far as I know doesn't affect it.

Maxed Friend, she'll surrender it. Less than max Friend, she'll keep it.

I think she'll give it up at less than max Rivalry but I haven't tested yet.

All i care about is how awkwardly all the women are walking at the beginning of the cutscene. They should have a more feminine gait.

I was full rivalry, romance, and gave her the choice. She decided to reluctantly give up the dagger.

She kept the Dagger on my wife's playthrough when given the choice. But she wasn't maxxed out nor an LI at that point for her. On my playthroughs she always sighs and gives up the pretty dagger.
