My system specs:

windows vista latest SP
AMD 5200+
4GB memory
8800 GTS 512
direct x 11
Can run all games except DA2 DLC =(
HD more then enough space left

I replied to your earlier thread, but it seems you missed it.

An asterix (or "star", as you call it) behind any of your DLC means your DLC is unauthorized. The most common way to fix this is to simply log on the Dragon Age servers from the DA2 menu screen. Have you already tried that?

EA login has a bug:
I am logged into the EA server everytime I start the game , but I never reentered my login info.
I again manually clicked login, typed my password, and now the star is gone!

My password is right otherwise it would say so, so all these time it's logging me, but does not authorize me....

DA2 always logs me in automatically and I never have had such issues before, so it's strange you had this issue... But I'm glad my solution worked.
