I just finished act 2 and returned home to check the mail.
I had a message from Gascard.
But I had him tortured by Fenris and killed after he helped me kill Quentin oO
Is this a bug?
Wait... I killed Gascard...

You should only get a message from Gascard in Act III if Hawke spared him, where he changes his ways and thanks Hawke.

We have several examples of the people in the DA universe refusing to stay dead...

It may be a bug if you haven't got the latest patch downloaded. I could have sworn I killed him, but then got a letter thanking me for sparing his life, so I assumed I just got my saves mixed up. Since then I have downloaded the latest patch, so I will have to see if this makes things any different.

Gascard showed his gratitude too early.

Well he did use blood magic, maybe he's a zombie and just didn't notice yet.

Yep. Probably some blood mage rebuilt him from people who looked like him.Lazy Jer wrote...

I can only imagine the kind of truly diseased mind that would want to rebuild Gascard DePuis.

I play on xbox 360 and i keep it updated.
And yes I can believe that royal mail had something to do with it :/
In all seriousness xD I hope that doesn't effect the future.
