I'm currently in that Spindrift Town, with two treasure maps which don't seem to work any longer ("Missing coordinates..."), the one in the Sea cave, and the one in the Umberlee Temple, supposed to offer you the scepter of storms.
I lbelieve I had them working some years ago.
Is that because of the updates?
(Same bug with and without the override folder...)
Thanks!

Same bug in the "Lighthouse Sea caves", which makes three of those going off.
Is that because of 1,69?
Now, where is that "customers service" again... ;-)

I tried a few things, including no override folder at all, not from the beginning though... but, no luck.
It looks like an outdated module to me, but as you said, techless, so low profile...
Thanks for the answer anyway.
Further on, that "Isle of the Dead" treasure find worked well... so...
Still, I don't find that "money premium" that outstanding. Few ennoying bugs, here and there, but some PotSW exploits definitely belong to the best NWN ever.

maybe "If you right-click on them and use their special power, they'll tell you where to walk next (assuming that you're in the right map of the module)."
from the walkthrough you posted.

I'm quite sure I am in the right map, as I get a message saying this:
"[Treasure Map]: NO SUPPORTING
WAYPOINTS FOR TREASURE MAP
SYSTEM."
And the "unused" maps desappear once you leave the area anyway, proving you failed using them at the right place.
Not big deal anyway, just for the records and next players to not be surprised about it... if it ever happens to them.
I'm on a Mac, and somtimes Mac and PC coordinates/waypoints systems aren't exactly friendly. The only difference I ever suspected. Even if I find it highly unlikely in that very case...
