Corpses and Cattle have been available for romances since launch for at least one faction so the pandas do not introduce anything new here.

Besides, my statement still stands. Such things were still in the game before homosexuality, therefore unbalancing troll logic and possibly creating a temporal ripple. Or something. >.>

The gays wanted more say and a gay character in World of Warcraft. In turn fans have been rioting about that and the panda faction. At this point Blizzard has commented on the rioting on the forums but they are not doing anything about it.

Bottom line Ghostwalker pissed off the majority in CATA to favor the hardcore raiders....doing so he pretty much snubbed the causals and normal gamers who are jumping ship. So right now they are in crisis mode and in stead of banning people posting hate topics about gays they are leaving them alone in the World of Warcraft forums because everyone is doing it and Blizzard though they can afford it for a short time doesn't want to make the majority mad.

Go ahead and look you even have some blue post mods who talk about the rioting but are doing nothing about it or trying to be negative. This is what happens when the company offends the majority and focuses on an minority. Now they are on damage control

You maik me laugh, can't you keep the WoW whining to the forums, that they belong to? You want a game that you can play with hands behind your back? Get kinect and get Tetris.

Eh...I followed your link and all i saw was thread after thread of butthurt Alliance players whining about horde favouritism at some Blizzcon. It makes me happy i quit over a year ago the whining there is reaching critical levels.

Btw your new expansion didnt kill the game for many players WOTLK did that already. By the end of the xpac everyone i knew had put Arthas down, in comparison to TBC or Vanilla where many players never reached endgame raiding. Bunch of crybabies.

If you want a gay/lesbian character in WoW then just roleplay one? If you want a transvestite character in WoW then play the opposite sex? I don't see the problem here. Your sexuality can be whatever you want in WoW. Can't it?

From what I can gather from the silly arguments being banded back and forth on those forums, it's mostly about representation within the game itself. The RPers, who care to, have been RPing it for seven years so that's not the issue. 

Personally, I don't think WoW is the type of game where implementing that kind of thing is all that important. TOR, for example, is different since it has personal romances for the PCs. In WoW, romance has never been a part of the player experience, unless you roleplay it. For most of the NPCs, their sexuality isn't even indicated. So I'm not sure why it's such a big deal either way.
