I'm sorry Gmagnum... I know the whole broken, useless english is your "shtick" or whatever... and I don't mean to come across as harsh or overly rude but I feel strongly compelled to ask....
(do not listen to or play in presence of children)
It's practically impossible to take anything you say or post seriously... you just make me want to not even bother reading & deciphering your gibberish.

I'm glad to have the extra content but, honestly, I really wish there was a little more actual physical stuff in there. I mean, the art book's great and all, but I was kinda spoiled by Halsey's diary in the Halo: Reach collector's edition. Now that's the kind of extra content I'd have absolutely no reservations about paying for.

Yeah, Hathur, ME really has a hold on me. Really has a hold on me. Oh god, now I have a song stuck in my head. And my attempt at reversing my age course failed.
This thread is no fun.
My bad! Speaks well of you to though like book smell and be mature enough to be confused with a thirtysomthing! Hathur, lmao @ grannypants/dentures on you. I can't quite see it. Lucky hoodie and teddybear yes, grannypants and cane to shake at kids on lawn no. ME's worth the purchase, second game to warrant a CE buy, but the first I'll actually get. Unless you count the $150 ace combat six with the flightstick. I couldn't resist going into the danger zone with a real HOTAS.

Heheh, it's no problem. That's actually the second time recently I've had someone think I might be several years older than I actually am -- the first was with Hathur, although she was a bit unsure since I'm getting into college now. (Of course, then again, my grandmother was 38 when she got her Master's Degree and you're never too old for that stuff, never!)
It's flattering, really. I just couldn't resist making a thing out of it.
Yeah, I think the fact that it's $80 goes a long way toward my being totally secure with grabbing the CE for ME3. Were it $150 like with Skyrim, Ace Combat and no doubt several other games lately, statue-or-not, flightstick-or-not, I'd really have to think long and hard about my purchase.

Pfffft. You clearly have a limited imagination. Me in my lucky hoodie, grannypants, dentures AND a teddy bear in my arms? Now that's scary. Mwahaha:devil:
Oh.... and the N7 patch is pretty awesome, to those who said otherwise. One of the coolest items in there actually.

1. Dragon Age 2
2. The Arrival
3. Witch Hunt
4. Kinect
5. Multiplayer
Now I'll just go ahead and pick up the standard edition used and **** any online pass crap that EA tries to pull. (No, there is no difference anymore between EA and Bioware.)

Ace Combat was a long, thought out purchase. What made me finally get it was the discovery that Hori's flightstick had native windows drivers and I've been able to use it in X-wing/Tie Fighter games and other flight sims aftewards.

Its not something I'd pay extra for on its own, but I can't deny that I'm stoked to have my own N7 patch. Spectre and Cerberus patches would have made me go apenuts.

There may, in fact, be no words to describe how awesome you really are, lol.
I can see it now, Hathur in her 80's rocking a motorized wheel chair with flame decals, fuzzy dice, and a "I brake for BioWare" bumper sticker.

The first CE I ever bought was Halo 2, which I very much liked. Since then, I've pretty much been looking for nothing other than CE's when it comes to my most anticipated games.Seanylegit wrote...
I've never bought a CE of a game, ever. But considering this is my favorite series, and the final chapter, I think I'm going to. One last hoorah, you know?
Sometime I miss out, though. For example, I really wanted to buy the Dead Space 2 CE but never found it, so I just ended up getting the regular edition.

Indeed there was. And I think, despite some rather conflicting statements of mine in this thread on the whole matter, I probably would have ended up finding some way to shell out for it too.
Also, thanks for requoting Dave. Very important. I fully intend to emphasize that issue to no end all throughout February.
@Diebythesword:
Ah, the X-Wing and TIE Fighter games. (And X-Wing versus TIE Fighter/Balance of Power, no less.) The only flight sims I've ever truly fallen in love with. I had a great-for-its-day joystick for those games. Easily the most expensive bloody thing I owned, growing up poor as I did.
Logitech Wingman Interceptor. Hell of a joystick. Smooth, responsive and the acceleration was perfect for my favored craft. Shot down more Imperials than I can possibly remember. It was a sad day when I had to lay her to rest. Trigger kept stopping up in the middle of a firefight. Bloody dangerous.
I'd give every gaming peripheral I own for one more mission with that ****** old joystick.

Not only did I get each game is it came out, I got each reissue so I could play with newer features as graphic card strength improved. Now, I have owned many flightsticks, cheaps ones as my Dad was interested but he will sacrifice quality for price every time. When I was in college, I bought myself better gear, but I couldn't afford topshelf until I had a good job later on. I will say that the Hori HOTAS is pure, unadulterated awesome. Stick and Throttle feel like they were torn out of a F16; smooth, repsonsive and just plain sexy despite ugly X-box white/green color scheme.
When I'm behind that stick, I'm not good, I'm not even great, I'm the best damn pilot at my desk. You want me in my flight sims.
