I recently got a new PC and re-installed Dragon Age: Origins.
When I checked, just to make sure, all my DLC was in the 'available' tab. None of it was downloading. I had no access to the DLC I had paid for.
I came on here to download it manually, only to find when I tried to log in it asked me to create a new account.
The original account name I went by: mattdiox
Was already taken, which told me my account was still there, just not connected to my email.
I want to know why this is.
How to fix it.
And if it can't be fixed, how I will be compensated for the amount of money I have spent on DLC I can no longer access.
I assume that since I can't access my account, all my Mass Effect 2 DLC will be lost too.
Also, as a side note. If mods or random readers are wondering why I'm posting here.
It's because EAs more private support options like their 'contact us' section sucks.
I won't go into why here, for now, let's just leave it at it sucks.

Anything dealing with accounts is beyond the scope of this forum, which is primarily designed for gamers to help fellow gamers. For official customer support, go to support.ea.com, log in, and select "Contact Us". That will get you in touch with the folks that deal with accounts, etc.

Use the EA.com live chat option, which if you get a good tech is the best option. If you get a bad tech then try again in a day or so. This forum is controlled by EA, and no one on here can do anything about your account, except maybe an EA employee if they are stalking the forum.

When I clicked the contact us area all it did was take me to this help section.
I tried using the 'help' area and every time I tried to search anything to do with accounts.
It came up blank.
I tried it with all kinds of different tags and each time it came up blank.
I know I am probably missing something here but it's really poorly set up and I can't find anything to help me there.
Also, there was no live chat option as far as I could see.

Ah... it appears they've changed their support page (for the worst). Try this:
Go to:
https://help.ea.com/connect-with-us
... and you should be prompted to log in. Do so, then you'll be asked a series of questions (what game series, what specific game). Then you'll be prompted to contact them either with a return phone call, live chat, or via e-mail.

Thank you,
I've emailed and I'm just praying this gets resolved soon or that's around £60 down the drain.

E-mail is one of the worst help support options, because it generally gets put on a back burner and can take days to get a response. If you can use the live chat option, you generally get a live response within minutes, sometimes the live part is an idiot, but you get a response. If you get an idiot then retry a day later. Live chat is by far the better route, but good luck with your issue.
