The last patch for DA:O was solely to fix some serious DLC authorization errors, which are not present in DA2.

No dice on the patch yet? I know there's a bug on the disappearing quest items, keys, and invisible enemies but come on, its been months and months and still no news on a upcoming patch?

This reminds me of another game... I think it was called Dragon Age: Origins... (1.05 does NOT count as a patch, it was merely a "We can't sell DLC because no one can use it", this is why the PS3 and 360 did not receive patch 1.05 as they did not have that issue.)
To the point, Bioware does not have to fix the game. You can play it from start to finish, some side missions have bugs. They haven't really spoken too much on DA2 bugs, but it seems like the game has reached the end of its life cycle in terms of updates. They have some huge bugs left in DA:O too but stated it won't be fixed like the "Running more than 2 cores may crash the game!".
Like I said in the Dragon Age: Origins forums: Take this as a lesson of who to buy from. If you want a fixed game to the point where every quest works you'll probably need to look elsewhere (and to be honest I have no idea of a company that has a game with completely functional quests that isn't an MMO). Although they say they have limited resources and such I know for a fact that many of these bugs (created fixes first hand using the console or adding override fixes!) can be rectified in a day. It doesn't have to fix them all, just a "We fixed SOMETHING" would be nice and let us know there's something being done. I hear there's a crew (resources) but I see no evidence...
