Played the first. Loved certain aspects; disliked others. Similar tale with Assassin's Creed, really. And yeah, I realize both games' sequels are considered vastly superior.

So uh, eventually I'll get into it.

Played all the previous games more than twice, and enjoyed every single minute of it. Plus, with new features to the MP system (which is great BTW) it'll be even more awesome.

Will probably get this game at or around Christmas and power through it in a couple of days like I did last year with Uncharted 2.

I normally have no time for sequels that don't make massive changes on a previous game I've already played, but I loved the second one so much that I can make an exception here. Improved MP is also a selling point.

As someone that isn't fussed about Skyrim this has GOTY potential for me.

Yeah, I don't really listen anymore Gamespot's reviews b/c of the points they give to games that are worth much more/less.

Anyway, still looking very much forward to this game! Day 1 buy for me!

I loved both 1 and 2. I have this pre-ordered, and already started the countdown. Now if only I had the day off from work...hmm..

A day won't be enough for me.

And about that review, yeah it's Gamespot. What more can you say. But the review is by one persons opinion of the game (though which has been accepted by the other guys at Gamespot) so no need to get all moody. Especially when other reviewers gave U3 a 10 XP

It's hard to make a improvement over Uncharted 2, which was qualified as almost perfect (not perfect as in a 'perfect game').

U2 introduced quite many new features from U1 which turned out to be quite successfull, while I'm guessing U3 "only" offers improvements from the U2's features, while at the same time adding some small new features, but doesn't add up enough points to make the game worth a 10 by Gamespot's standards ( which I kinda have to agree with). Plus, they said that U3 is the best in the series, so that's at least enough for me.

Liked the games, but they aren't really game of the year worthy in my book. I loved Claudia Black's voice acting like always, but Uncharted: 2 was really a huge letdown for me. I think it was mainly to introduce multiplayer.

Well it broke the record of winning the most GOTYs. Though ME2 beat that record so it's on 2nd place know. Gonna be tough to win a GOTY this year with so many other good games around.

Considering that there are so many GOTYs that are handed out, it's kinda of a joke to me. Only more "important" prizes like BAFTAs are more interesting.
