Well it's awfully convenient that she was in the right place at the right time, with a near perfect reasoning for joining the Grey Warden's team.

Plus Lothering is the closest town to Ostagar, it would seem reasonable that anybody leaving there would stop in the town. That's why Loghain's men were there, looking for Grey Wardens.

You forget that she's a professional bard. They are trained to be masters of deception and can make any excuse and cover look completely legit. And when she said she wouldn't lie anymore about Marjolaine and what happened to her, she was still lying.

No, Dorothea probably had plans for Leliana, but I doubt she was in the service of Dorothea until after the Blight.

i don't think she was working FOR her. not as some kind of full-time super-secret agent seeker anyway. but working WITH her? as in spying and trading information? yeah, i'd buy that. i didn't trust her from the day i picked her up.

Some time in DA3, Leliana, Justinia, and every Reverend Mother from Thedas will gather at the Chantry at Val Royeaux for a strategic meeting regarding the Mage-Templar War.

Then Anders, Merrill, Morrigan, my BloodMage!Hawke and my BloodMage!Warden will have already filled an underground lake full of Qunari blood, and detonate them in an ancient Tevinter ritual. Three quarters of Vol Royeaux will be reduced to rubble, and every high ranking Chantry member in Thedas killed so fast and so completely that they cannot enter the Fade but forever haunt Thedas as lowly mosquito-like spirits.

Then we physically enter the Fade again and drag the Maker Himself from His throne and ****slap Him for what a lousy God He has been.
