I was aboard the normandy the other day and one of my messages was from somebody talking about sending prothean artifacts from ilos to me, this never happened.
Same happened with Emily Wong, requesting an interview which....... never happened.
All i ask is, why do bioware do this, yes it adds background but personally i think, being able to reply would make much more sense.

The Prothean artifact message was a clear reference to the Nigerian 419 scams.
While it would have been nice to be able to reply, its not important. Odds on we'll get to do that in ME3.

I actually wish that you can reply to the messages that you get, like in real life through email or on the phone with texts. If you get a text or an email you can hit reply and type out your messages and push send.

I really wish they'd quit doing the spam joke. Every game I've ever played that's had an mail system has done that joke. The earliest one I can remember is Xenosaga in 2002, and I don't even play many games. It was funny the first time. It's not funny the 25th time.
