I hang around the Escapist some, as well as Polygon and Gameinformer. Usually Kotaku if I'm looking to quickly run down the news cycle.

Halo Waypoint, mostly as a lurker.

Also, I browse Twitter quite frequently.

2. BSN ("people having debates and conversations from interesting to creepy" *Dovah's quote* + BW news)

I am not much of community person. I like a functionality of Obsidian's forum a lot, though. Be it multi-quote, "likes", mail updates, etc.

Im starting to frequent this website called Monstervine for more independent videogame coverage.

After that whole Mass effect 3 thing at launch, it all opened my eyes on how heavily influenced the information I get from major gaming websites are by the publishers. Ever since I've been seeking out more and more indie game news sites.

BSN, occasionally Bethesda Softworks, UbiForums (for Assassin's Creed, the speculation is great).

Those are the gaming communities (besides one of my old clans from a particular game whom I have a lot of old friends to still talk to on a forum or Teamspeak).
