Well as far as gaming is concerned,
- for gaming news mostly:
Gamespot,
IGN and
Reddit ( /r/gaming)
- for reviews:
Gamespot,
Eurogamer,
Giantbomb and
Metacritic- to check out what is new about my favourite games:
Bioware Social Network (Mass Effect 3) and Mass Effect FB page,
Dues Ex Human Revolution forum (forums.eidosgames.com) and FB page,
Witcher forum (en.thewitcher.com) and FB page and my favorite,
Teamliquid.net for Starcraft 2. Will I add Bethesda soon? We will see.

- I also rarely check
Gamasutra for some interesting interviews when I have time.
I do not use Twitter anymore, because I found it to be too adictive to chat with you guys (and other developers, yay for Eidos Montreal and Harvey Smith.

).
Last but not least, I would like to spend few words on my currently favorite forum,
Teamliquid.net and why I like it, so that my post actually has some informational value (lol).
Reason no. 1,
the structure.
I admit, at first glance, the page may look complicated and kind of overcrowded but after getting used to it, I have to say it's perfect. The left panel displays few newest topics for each sub-forum (news about the forum / community, news about SC, news about tournaments, news about other games, etc.), the center of the page is dedicated to the most important events and messages and the right panel is dedicated to currently active streams of games, tournaments, shows, etc.
Simply put, from one page, I can see and acces everything - it's like a combination of Mass Effect official page (or FB page) and Mass Effect forum with easy access to Bioware pulse episodes.
Reason no. 2,
very high quality of some postsAnd by those I mean mostly the posts made by professional players, game casters, tournament organizers and other guys who make a living out of Starcraft. But not only those. I am not sure if Starcraft as a strategy game attracts kind of geekier and nerdier people or why, but many posts (mostly OPs) out there go really into details (some people make various university researches and studies about SC and how it affects players' behavior and other crazy stuff like that), so one can learn a lot of new things on TL.
Reason no. 3,
stricter site rules This one is very simple. Despite large quantiy of aggressive posts, mostly during the heated discussions about game's balance or some tournament results, the mods are up-holding quite strict rules. Posts like "
this ", "
^^^ ", "
Yup " or posts, that quote somebody else without adding anything new just to show an agreement or emphasize the point of previous poster are warned or temp-banned. Same goes for all the pictures, memes and other stuff not related to current discussion.
Optional reason no. 4,
much larger community - more opinions, more perspectives, less personal conflicts.
So those are some of my ideas and information about some of my favorite gaming sites. Hopefully, I did not sound like I don't like BSN. To the contrary, it's one of my favorite sites. It's just not current No. 1. ¯\\_
