I've tried a couple of the romances just to see the content, but the Shepard I think of as "mine" is holding onto the hope that one day he won't be the only gay man on the Normandy.

I romanced Liara and I was loyal to her through Me 2 and then I have continued the romance in SB, so I hope my Shep gets to retire with her in ME3.

Here! I found none of the characters really fitting to the character I was playing. Except for Miranda, but alas she wasn't an option for female characters. I guess I'll have to wait.

My canon male Shepard has steered completely clear of all romances through ME 1 &2. The reasons for that varied by character. The closet my Shep came to romancing someone was with Ashley. There was some interest there but my Shepard is a by the books type of fella so a relationship with Ash was not a possibility. Now that she's a SpecTRe though and no longer under his command, things could change...If the game permits that anyway. Does anyone know if ME1 romancable characters who weren't romanced in ME 1 will still be available to romance in ME3?
