Yep and the explanation we'll get is still illusions, Mages uses mirror-images and Rogues stealth.

If the warrior ever got a talent like it it'd prolly be super speed, ala Meredith's jump of fate in the end.

Warriors already have something better anyway.  Reavers can suck someone's soul out for healing.  I love that.

Throwing daggers is cool, don't get me wrong, but why should I throw a measly knife at someone, when an arrow has much more force?
Plus, when you throw daggers, you won't always hit with the blade, they can break, you are far more likely to miss than with an arrow, and finally, you're throwing a perfectly good weapon away. WHY?!
(BTW, I may just have used realism to describe a fantasy land with dragons, elves, magic, and BFS. YMMV.)

The only reason you'd use throwing knives is if your main method of fighting was melee with daggers/knives, and you used the ranged attack in situations where it warranted it.

You definitely get a lot more armor penetration and raw damage to the target from a longbow or a crossbow than you ever will with a thrown knife.  Tallis might be able to throw a knife through someone's neck at a few yards, but Sebastian could kill her with one shot from 125 yards with that starkhaven longbow pretty much every time if he's as good as he appears to be with it.

She has a special power of throwing objects.
I'm glad they don't. Playing circus gets old after a while. (But I still dig this Harlequin outfit)
There is a mod that makes Hawke and Isabela throw daggers in combat, if you're interested.

No, Felicia Day asked for it because she thinks it's awesumez and they agreed and then they celebrated and made it happen.

You know, I am still kind of upset that Bioware validated someone's terrible Mary Sue and actually put it in the game. Next they should add Ebony Darkness Dementia Raven Way as a DLC...

Needs updating, but here: Dagger Toss for All, in two variations (some daggers swapped, or all daggers swapped).

in bold... it just means your throwing your daggers wrong... there are 2 throwing methiods on knife throwing. one is the spinning type, the other is a non spinning type.

the spinning type has much more force behind it when it hits but as you pointed out has a chance to miss. The non spinning methoid doesn't use the spin but also has less force behind it. but the blade is always pointing where you throw it.
