 Title sums up most of the premise. Anyone else think it'd be cool if we could at the very least change the color of our tech armor? If not a wide pallette, maybe a default color assigned based on the color of your armor ( all shades of blue=standard blue tech armor, all shades of red=standard red, all shades of green=standard green, etc)?

 Yeah, yellow doesn't really go too well with hot-pink/baby-blue combo.

Drawing the tech armour's colour from the "trim" colour'd be most effective. And yes, it would be very nice to modify it...

I'm wondering if they havn't already though - sentinelshep in the videos had a pale red tech-armour (and red trim), as opposed to the yellow tech armour of ME2

That's a positive sign. Red is a bit flashier than shades of yellow or blue, and would conflict more with other armor colors, I think. So it's likely if red is in it's a choice.

Edit: The armour is definatly not omni-tool-orange - compare when shep uses his omni tool:


The omni tool appears regular yellowy-orange, yet his armour is definatly more of a red-ish colour. Whether that's derived his his red armour trim, is because they changed tech armours colour, or whether you can now customise though is anyone's guess

Well I won't get my hopes up until I see a color like blue.

Blue COULD just be a non-changeable color. It doesn't look terrible with many color combos, and most shades are fairly calm. Although a counterpoint is yellow is kinda the color for techs, as purple-blue is for biotics.

no way! i played a sentienel with green armor exclusively.

id rather not have tech armor be a custom color. i think tech armor should look iconic and most of that comes from its highly noticable bright yellow color. but i dont play a sentinel much so im only interested in terms of it beign a squadmates accesory.

altho i did think talis purple drone was actually perfectly awesome.

I know right!

...though. I wore white camoflage armour with orange trim and an archon visor. Omni-tool orange tech armour was my thing anyway <.<  - but if they've made tech armour red now I'll be a sad panda

I agree The blue Suns Style of tech armor is awesome, But For my Shep i would perfer A Black color.
