It is also possible that Mass Effect is just not the game for you.

(1) Is it boring because its too easy? What difficulty are you playing at?
(2) How far have you played?

and if you want action, take the shotgun in any class and go for cqc .
vanguard + claymore is popular
there was a recent excellent thread with soldier+shotgun.
or experiment with various combinations ( ryoldschool 's thread with the cryo ammo ) .
adept on high levels is great too .

I think Casual is too low a level to really get any kind of enjoyment out of any of the classes, largely down to how fragile everything is. The game itself even admits upfront this mode is largely to experience the story rather than play the game.
At minimum, I'd say Normal.
Whether you enjoy a class largely depends on how you prefer to play and what interests you. Personally I realy enjoy chaining stuff together so the team and my powers function better than the sum of their parts, as well as having lots of options, so Adept is my preferred option. Conversely, I find classes that do the same thing no matter the situation are boring, so I'm not a fan of the Vanguard class. I thoroughly enjoy the infiltrator too, but I find the Soldier really hard work in sticking with a playthrough.

I mus admit i do really love Sniping and am dam good at it but when i play the Infiltrator i feel liek i'm lacking the punch that a Soldier would normally have
That's probably true, it's generally easier to do lots of damage with the soldier (using the Widow = FUN). The advantage that the infiltrator has over the soldier in terms of sniping is that they can move around the battlefield really easily by cloaking, so you get to choose where you want to snipe from and can switch sniping locations pretty much whenever you want.

in that case, the challenge would lie with playing in a completely opposite style, like point blank shooting . It's feasible in all classes , though harder in some.

You have to die like a vanguard before becoming a wrecking ball.

I watched the Vanguard video. To avoid deaths like that there is a strategy to playing as one. Use your squadmates and your weapons to damage or strip protections before you charge. Charging into fully protected enemies is a bad idea.
Actually, you want to charge into protected enemies. Protected enemies stagger on the spot instead of flying backward; this allows you to stay close to them so you can kill them with your shotgun and/or elbow of death.

True, but a flying enemy isn't going to be shooting back for a while. In that case you can afford a bit of delay in wiping them out, be that shifting your focus against a neaby enemy or shooting an enemy while they're getting thrown backwards.

Another strategy is defense-stripping one enemy with, say warp. Charge him, and shoot the guy next to him while the guy you charged is incapacitated. It's what I prefer anyway.
