I could have sworn I heard somewhere that there was a 'vashoth' type of kossith that were different from the tal'vashoth. That memory is very vague though. I think we'll be seeing more of these characters too, I think out of everyone Josmael is my favorite. And I'm not sure what happened with his girlfriend, did she stab herself, did she fall, did Josmael stab her (I don't think he did), I just wasn't sure what happened there.
According to what the devs or possibly one of the Codexes have told us I think "Vashoth" are Qunari who has left the Qun. A Tal'Vashoth is one that has become violent.
Yeah, that is what I was thinking, but I know that I have heard it used before.

Ok, I knew there was a struggle happening, but not sure exactly what was going on.

Specifically, Redemption shows us how Tallis became a rogue agent and sets up Mark of the Assassin, which itself introduces us to quite a bit of lore regarding the qunari and the Orlesians.

But it's still pretty damned good, and they do what they can to keep the lore canon.

The sudden romance completely ruined immersion in the series as while there had been slight romantic buildup, there was not nearly enough to justify Tallis' emotional reaction, especially considering how callous she normally was. It also seemed to be built entirely on cliches for how such a showdown could unfold.

Not to mention, given some time for Nyree and Josmael to actually do something. Seriously, did they really ever get a chance to actually do anything? It seemed Cairn and Tallis got the spotlight to fight the bad guys and Saarebas at every opportunity while we occasionally cut to them... dealing with the nameless mooks?
It was a shame because Nyree was easily the best character and the whole quest had at least as equal emotional significance to Josmael as it did Cairn.
Think about it, Josmael had his uncle taken, was burdened with being the new Keeper, gets his settlement attacked by Saarebas, fails to protect the artefact, loses his girl, finds out his uncle is dead and then discovers that his girlfriend betrayed him just before she dies...
Have we seen mages in Dragon Age go completely berserk and unleash a torrent of pain on the ones who crossed them, for less? Josmael's reaction should have been to go all "Destiny Trailer Hawke" on Saarebas and rip him to pieces...
Something like that would have definitely justified his "I'm the Keeper now" character growth and proved that he's just as legitimately badass as the others in the party.
Regardless, it was a great webseries overall and I definitely enjoyed it.

The series is to short. It is like watching a long commercial or movie trailer. You just start to get into the story, and it's over. When I heard there would be a series, I assumed it would be at least a 30 minute show, minus commercial and all the credits.
The story line is a bit over the top at times, but not bad. The Qunari look... really strange. Some of the actors are decent, and some are absolutely horrid.
Another question, when did a phylactery have the power to disable a magi? I was under the impression, it was only a tracking device?
It is worth the watch. It is free after all. Day, is quirky; not a stellar actress, but she is fun to watch.
My .02 anyway..

Make up our mind, can a Templar marry or not? When we questioned you all in DA2 about Ser Wesley, you stated that a Templar can marry. However, in Redemption, the Templar states he cannot wed.. *sighs*
Felicia explained somewhere that she wrote the whole script even before Dragon Age 2's release and never had the chance to play it before filming. She built that script based on her own imagination and her experience from Dragon Age Origins which she already finished. I take it they couldn't really change all those scenes after Dragon Age 2 got released, so they kept the original version.
