The Saarabas was in a chantry prison. I'm not sure but I think its implied that everyone in the prison has a phylactery.

Tal-Vashoth mage actually since he says "I am Qunari no longer!". I assume the Templars and Chantry had caught him and imprisoned him after he broke away from the Qun.
We already know he broke out of where he was held.

Lots of continuity mistakes...
Like, Templars can actually marry.
Or... Phylacteries being able to weaken a mage... Unless I missed something in the lore?
You do realize that the whole process is run by the BioWare people, right? That the writer of the series constantly sent questions to BioWare about lore, and probably loves the game series as much as anyone else on the forums?
Or... do you just like to be a Negative Nancy?

The Warden can impregnate Morrigan without the DR. And Fiona had a child with Maric.
Hence the reason I didn't use the term "sterile". "Infertile" can refer to diminished fertility.
Now, before you drag out a medical dictionary and lecture me on the distinction between 'infertility' and 'sterility', ask yourself if arguing with me over this minor point is really worth the time and energy.

She's adorable and I think that in 10 minute episodes they covered a lot of background and established the characters really well.
I'll definitely watch the other episodes and that's a first for me.

Don't be an ass. I'm just saying what I know about the lore and what I read so far.

It's highly possible he's just using the Phylactery to focus in his templar ability to nullify magic. Using the blood to tune in on the Saarebaas so to speak.

Wow. I tried to like it, I really did. I just can't, it doesn't feel like Dragon Age. One of the youtube comments said it looks like a bunch of people LARPing, and I have to agree. :/
Glad if others enjoy it though.
You give an elf a new style of ears, put a Templar in cheap looking armor, and give people more unique looking clothes and suddenly it doesn't feel like Dragon Age. Even though the real life shot of The Gallows is astonishingly accurate.

Seems strange since Bioware has actually informed us, here on the forum even if I am not misstaken, that Templars are infact allowed to marry. Priests take vowes of chastity but not Templars. And we have other proof of course such as Aveline and Wesley in Dragon Age 2. Seems like Felicia Day and her "Knights of Good" never played that game.
I mean sure, marriage is probably rare for a templar since they spend their time either in a chantry, with priests, or in a circle tower, with mages, and they can not be togheter with either of those. A templar could marry another templar of course, but that would most likely be a gay marriage (not that there is anything wrong with that) since 90% of the Templar order seem to consist of men.
Still, in Dragon Age Redemption the templar clearly stated "Templars are not allowed to marry".

Just watched first episode, they act way too modern. Voices and actual words especially.
How did Dragon Age people sound and speak in your world?

they shouldve just made a pilot and hope to find fundings in stead of a mini serie on the net but its not bad just laks a decent budget to maintain costumes and scenery on a high level
just check out how expensive lotr was and u will understand why redemption is what it is
just hope they choose a direction to go in that makes sense and insert more cgi
maybe they need to colaborate with pixar roflmao
either way it has great potential
but i did mis the floating weapons XD
