Sarabaas is dangerous though, we see this and his plans. Why do you think Tallis was sent after him?

What about poor Josmael?

Tallis through a knife at him for crying out loud...she's lucky she didn't do that trick on Merrill in MotA.

Anyway, that still has nothing to do with the point I was making.  Regardless if the apostate is actually dangerous or not, Templars are to see situations regarding apostates as black and white.  All apostates (even someone like Bethany) need to be taken to the Circle or killed if they refuse.

Josmael said he was a healer, Tallis needed to be sure he was telling the truth and would not slow them down. Also she would not throw a knife at Merrill, she would simply ask Merrill to blow something up. I see nothing wrong with what Tallis did, if Josmael would have died, it would have been his own dam fault for saying he was a good healer =]

She could have just kicked him in the shin or gave him a bloody nose or something.

Yeah, I thought flinging a knife at him was a little too harsh. That's just some horrible accident waiting to happen, even worse than running with scissors!

Tallis is also the same woman who put blood on her self and ran around sounding like a nug, I highly doubt throwing a knife at someone to see if they can heal is the hardest thing she has done.

To be fair, Merrill wasn't trying to convince the group that she's a healer and that's why they should take her along. Besides, it's not necessarily the fact that he *can* heal, but that he can heal potentially life-threatening wounds under pressure. She didn't hit him in a spot that would instantly kill him (heart, lungs, neck, head, etc.), she did it in a place that allowed for sufficient time to respond. The same sort of field conditions she'd expect him to have to heal in. I don't want to know whether you can heal a nosebleed, I want to know whether you can heal a stab wound.

Anyway, that still has nothing to do with the point I was making.  Regardless if the apostate is actually dangerous or not, Templars are to see situations regarding apostates as black and white.  All apostates (even someone like Bethany) need to be taken to the Circle or killed if they refuse.

Yes, because all apostates (even someone like Bethany) can be possessed by demons.

Oh I love that! I think it is so cool to see dragaon age put to life on a screen. I am enjoying the quick wit of Tallis and the potential romance between her and the Templar (hehe). The elf lad is very cute and vulnerable, I hope they can rescue his fiancee!
I am looking forward to the next installment. :D

Like the Templar and the Dalish mage. Not keen on Tallis. Enjoying the show very much, however.

I like how Cairn and Tallis kind of laughed off Josmael when he thought they were in a relationship. I expected the reaction to be much more cliche and exaggerated like, "who us? the old couple?? Oh no, bur bur bur." But the reaction was a lot more subtle than I expected. It did seem like they shared a moment though, but it was more a 'boy you dumb' moment.

So far so great. It's got it's flaws there's no denying that.

Costumes are really good except for the Templar one, it's made me cringe every time.

The lore seams to not match up on a few things but I'm guessing that's just me leaping to broad sweeping conclusions based on one thing, one character said, once.

Some of the action moves have been so cool I find drool leaving my mouth.

The witting is top notch but I don't want to lock my self into that statement until I see the whole thing.

The acting though is about as good as it gets. Adam Rayner is particularly good imo. I'm ashamed to admit it but I never thought a web series could feature such fine talent.

With regards to Tallis, I ended up liking her in the DLC but she has really managed to come to life (the pun was unintentional but I'll take it).

Edit: spelling/grammar

I really enjoyed the series so far I felt the quality was great and am looking forward to more. Are Templars allowed to marry? I would think not since they will get lyrium addled and that is a supposed chantry secret none of the templars we meet in DAO are married.

Yes because indeed that was all the templars in Thedas. Image IPB
I've been enjoying it so far.

Aveline´s husband was a templar, so they can. Considering the one we met in the Circle tower enthralled by a demon, they probably need permission and should be rare (or maybe the writing team just changed their minds). Having Alistair as a Templar was a good way of removing him from the Throne in Origins, and he would have no offsprings to make trouble later.

I think the reason why you haven't had an answer is because no one knows for sure. But just ask yourself this; what place would a Grey Warden have amongst Templars, Apostates and the Qunari? Unless their is some sort of detour through the Deep Roads (Which would, admittibly, be awesome) I don't see them showing up at all.

Well still it would be cool if the Grey Wardens made cameo appearences, just to show the fans that felicia day did her research on the Dragon Age lore and not just make a movie about her own Elven assassin with the templars, Dalish elves, and qunaris thrown in just for the sake of it. <_<

They aren't thrown in just for the sake of it, this is story about those factions. The Grey Wardens are major players in Thedas sure, but they aren't going to be arbitrarily throw in just to hammer in the fact that this is a Dragon Age story. Felicia Day did her homework enough to know that the Grey Wardens wouldn't really fit into this story as it stands right now.

Says the person who wants Gray Wardens thrown into the mix for no reason just for the sake of it since they do not fit the story at all right now. DA is not about Gray Wardens.

I wouldn't even say most templars are like that... most of the templars you meet seem like fairly reasonable people. Gregoire, Cullen, those other ones in the tower, the guy in Lothering, Ser Otto, the ones in front of the Chantry in Denerim. Also Thrask, the templar recruits, and some of those lady templars you correspond with in the Quentin quests. As opposed to Alrik, that one guy with the bushy sideburns, those ones who torture the Dalish, the one who tries to capture Anders in Awakening, and Meredith. Though arguably prior to *spoiler* she was strict but not necessarily horrible.

Those are the Templars we've seen, but the codex that said the Templars are recruited primarily for their religious zeal and secondarily for their morality says that the good Templars we've seen are the minority.
