You understood what she said? Years and years of english philology and I still can't understand her gibberish.

It's a pretty rough accent, but I got most of what she said. It helps if you're at all familiar with Warhammer 40K, because she sounds like one of Da Boyz.

This recent episode of Redemption confirmed a suspicion I had: Tallis acts a bit more abrasive in the webseries because the last time she did the right thing, she got punished for it by the qunari.

From what she says in the series, she's done a lot of missions incorrectly and been given lots of chances.  I like that she believes in the Qun but has her own mind at the same time.

Cairn is the best. And Felicia could be better.

I figured she meant Saarebas would destroy the Qunari everywhere.

Just watched first episode, they act way too modern. Voices and actual words especially.

How did Dragon Age people sound and speak in your world? :o

Honestly, those "webisodes" sound like someone speaking today. Not like someone from hundreds of years ago. Which Dragon Age does, at least a million times more than that.

well i  pratice and teach medival fencing i can tell you that  unless you can  read and understand medieval high german , medieval french or medieval english. that is  going to be a tough call.

How Tallis knew the mercenary was a Reaver just by looking her?

I want to know more on the mask. I hope a dlc comes out soon were we can add tallis to our group or at least hear her talk about asking the champion for help. More banter

She spent some time Nathan Fillion on Buffy, and Nathan Fillion definitely knows how to spot a Reaver. Oh. Wait.

Well, it helps that the Saarebas kept calling her "Reaver" during the last fight.

Lots of continuity mistakes...

Like, Templars can actually marry.

Or... Phylacteries being able to weaken a mage... Unless I missed something in the lore?

You do realize that the whole process is run by the BioWare people, right?  That the writer of the series constantly sent questions to BioWare about lore, and probably loves the game series as much as anyone else on the forums?

Or... do you just like to be a Negative Nancy? ;)

Don't be an ass. I'm just saying what I know about the lore and what I read so far.

Teddie Sage is quite right. Ser Wesley and Aveline were married, so is the mistake in Redemption or DAII? I didn't know phylacteries could weaken a mage either. The series as a whole...while I appreciate the limited funds used to create it, it seemed pretty corny to me. The acting and effects alone were cringeworthy in places IMHO. I would have much preferred that Warden's Fall was concluded, or that a new CGI series was made.

Does anyone else find the Templar's armor warping and bending really distracting? I swear, every time he stands up it's like half a metal tutu.

I couldn't help but be annoyed about the whole templar getting married thing. I assumed when playing Origins that templars couldn't marry because of their service to the chantry and with the possessed templar during the Broken Circle quest. I'm hoping for an explanation sooner or later - although my assumption is that Aveline either married Wesley in secret, was married to him before he joined the order or the laws changed sometime between Redemption and DAII.

Anyway, I'm enjoying the webseries so far! Image IPB

I love Felicia Day in pretty much everything except for this series, though it may just be that Tallis is a really, really unlikeable character. And I had been trying to give her the benefit of the doubt in Mark of the Assassin, but the more I see her in Redemption, the less I like her.

I especially do not like how she treats the elf mage. If Tallis had stabbed my FemHawke mage like that, she would have used the fade to tear apart her limbs just as Hawke did to the Arishok in the destiny trailer.

I love the little I have seen of Nyree so far. Learning more about Cassandra is getting me excited for the upcoming seeker series.

And I'm on the fence with the Templar. His hinted at mistreatment of mages by Nyree is turning me against him.

Nyree is wonderful, and should've been there from the start. Maybe instead of the Elf-Necklace guy.

To be fair, the universe itself seems intent on making Josmael its butt monkey. His uncle was imprisoned and is now (presumably) dead, the saarebas slaughtered half of his clan, and now his girlfriend is intended as a blood sacrifice. He's probably going to get eaten by walking corpses by the end of the series.

Had Tallis actually killed him, she would have spared him this fate. :P

Is the templar armour made of cardboard?

This looks like a bunch of cosplayers running wild and I'm not inclined to waste any more time on it. One episode was more than enough.

For what it is I like it, not really a fan of Felicia Day. I absolutely love Cairn and would love it if he had a cameo in a future DLC or game. The Reaver seems cool so far as well.
