For what it is I like it, not really a fan of Felicia Day. I absolutely love Cairn and would love it if he had a cameo in a future DLC or game. The Reaver seems cool so far as well.

Nothing. But this is Dragon Age. Being a main character doesn't guarantee survival.

with a lot of inconsistencies with DA Lore i could not deal with it halfway thru episode 4 i quit
and still believe that miss Day is Overrated like in MotA is trying too hard to be funny / liked
and in my case just has the opposite effect, i hope it is the last we hear or see from Tallis and she will NOT be in other DLC or even DA3
and if she has to be in DA3 /DLC the i hope there will be an option to have her not join as a companion ,sort of like Leliana and Sten in Origins you could decide if they could join up and weren't forced upon you like Tali in ME
But that's just my opinion

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I've never heard people openly talk about Reavers before - the closest was in Origins when you get the ability, but they never go, "We're Reavers!" - instead, they just are kind of vague about "we will grant you power." So, it was very weird to me that everyone knew the term Reaver , what it meant, and openly chatted about it.
So it kind of left me confused as to whether or not this is just a new perspective (meaning, just cos in the games we've never seen people talk about reavers, doesn't mean they don't), or if she just messed up the writing.

Yea, there were some things going on with the Lore in this latest episode that had me confused. Can't say I'm a fan of the series. Mainly watching it to see what happened with Tallis that put her in the state she was in for MoTA, but its getting harder and harder to watch.

Well Reavers is one thing and if it was just that i would be ok with it
but they messed up the Qunari mages(saarebas) who can't talk since they had there tongue cut out
and the Dalish elves were not as welcoming to my city elf warden when he came to the Dalish they were like :
"Oke, so your Elven but since your not one of the Dalish you 're not allowed into our camp, and why are you here anyway???"
and when you hear the Dalish in DA II talk it seems nothing much has changed, they still don't like outsiders into their camp
and well miss Day seems sort of out of place in the DA world (or it's just me not liking miss Day)

Just because one camp acts a certain way doesn't mean they all do. Besideswho's to say they didn't shun Tallis at first also Tallis probably came at a crucial moment for them there village had just attacked so instead of Investigating straigt away she went to help out the kids and the injured thus gaining the trust of the few members of the clan.wickedwizzard01 wrote...

Tallis doesn't seem anymore out of place in DA than Isabella did or Merill she's grown up a city elf and is a flirtatious thrill seeker. As for the Saarebas as we saw in DA2 they don't all have there tongues cut off it's just the collar usually stops them from speaking.

It's not even slightly official. I, for one, couldn't disagree more. Not only did I enjoy both DLC far more than the base game (although they could do nothing about the combat, etc, of course), including MotA, but I'm also enjoying DA:Redemption immensely.wickedwizzard01 wrote...

Teddie Sage is quite right. Ser Wesley and Aveline were married, so is the mistake in Redemption or DAII? I didn't know phylacteries could weaken a mage either. The series as a whole...while I appreciate the limited funds used to create it, it seemed pretty corny to me. The acting and effects alone were cringeworthy in places IMHO. I would have much preferred that Warden's Fall was concluded, or that a new CGI series was made.Teddie Sage wrote...

Like, Templars can actually marry.
Or... Phylacteries being able to weaken a mage... Unless I missed something in the lore?
You do realize that the whole process is run by the BioWare people, right? That the writer of the series constantly sent questions to BioWare about lore, and probably loves the game series as much as anyone else on the forums?
Or... do you just like to be a Negative Nancy?
Don't be an ass. I'm just saying what I know about the lore and what I read so far.
Yes, thought that it was the training the Templars learned that drained your mana, not your phylactery. Your phylactery is only supposed to help them find you. The Templar should have some serious talents that would put a mage down to the ground, but you never get to see that, really, not even in the game. They need a cutscene somewhere that shows just how powerful Templar talents are.
And it was DA 2 that broke Canon on Qunari mages having their tongues cut out, because the Sarabass (sp?) speaks in the Shepherding Wolves quest, so that blew that bit of DA:O Canon right out the door.
As for Episode 4, it was ok.
