dragon age redemption was crap. who ever did the character designs sucked; sorry, its' just the truth
Cairn's Templar Armor looks similar to the standard issue from DAII. Josamel is wearing robes which is fitting of a Dalish First, and Serebass doesn't look much different than the DAII Kossith except that he's smaller and not leashed, stitched, and had his tongue cut.

Tallis is guaranteed to survive by virtue of this being a prequel to Mark of the Assassin and my gut tells me that Nyree will likely make it. However, Josmael is doomed to die in some utterly meaningless fashion and I wouldn't put any bets on Cairn making it out alive.
I am thinking that too, but I don't think he really cares either. But, I think that whatever happens, it's going to show us why Tallis stopped being..well I don't know how to describe her really lol.
Oh! And, a month after DA: R ends, Asunder is coming out, so more dragon agey goodness.
I think so too! I think something will happen to shake how she believes in things (perhaps in herself too). Maybe so she loses some of that arrogance and becomes more level-headed, as she seems to be in MotA. Maybe it's even something as simple as her getting caught/trapped and having to rely on her companions for help.
As for Josmael, even though he's seriously annoying, I would not blame him at all for turning on the party. They treated him like dirt straight from the off.

Suspect it's something even simpler -- namely, having the character written by someone else (BioWare writers) instead of herself, and/or being demoted from the protagonist to a support role.ReallyRue wrote...

And I think you are overestimating Felicia Days' writing skills.

I've rolled my eyes at a couple of Tallis things in both the series and game (mostly that she seems to be a massive lore buff), but I don't think her character is perfect. She wants to do what's right, but this conflicts with her desire to be obedient to the Qun and regain her former rank. This is displayed in both DLC and webisode.
The series has been showing the parallels between the Qunari and Andrastians, the shortcomings of both faiths, and how both Tallis and Cairn have dealt with the conflict between heart and duty. Meanwhile Josamel is all heart, and Nyree appears to be all hireling/duty.

That made me quirk a brow, considering in the very first episode she was basically asking who Andraste was.
I suppose Tallis could have feigned ignorance to deliver her 'killer line', but the curse in Ep 5 didn't feel natural as a result.

Unless I've missed something of astronomical importance, there is one fault about the Redemption series that stands out to me above all the others: the fact that Tallis is chasing Saarebas and not an Arvaraad. It is the primary function of an Arvaraad to regulate and control the Saarebas in their care, so why is a Qunari of a different role called on to perform this task? Especially considering that Saarebas is off his leash and that, by Qunari logic, both he and everyone he came in contact with must now be killed except for the Arvaraad. It makes no sense to me at all. Not only is Tallis stealing Arvaraad's duty, but must now be killed for coming into contact with the Saarebas.

"Are suggesting I become tal vashoth?" "Eww wtf is that?"
Rock beats Cartwheel lolz.
and "Eeeee, Tallis kill it!"
"The Qunari made me do it." hmm...ok.
I did get kind of tired of the lore inconsistencies like everyone else has been complaining about, closer to the end of the series. But overall I think it was good. The only thing I would have liked to see was Jos setting the mage on fire, I wanted him to just burst into flames SO bad.

Anyway, nice series. Hopefully ep. 6 isn't the last. I'll take more Dragon Age however I can get it, through a web series, more dlc, whatever.
As it turns out, I'm about to do another playthrough of MotA.

I rather enjoyed this series. It was cute, though some of the lore inconsistencies did annoy me... I'm forgiving of it since this is basically a fanwork. And it's only webseries.
Also: I want Nyree as a DA3 companion!!!

What lore inconsistencies? There didn't seem to be very many in the series. The only one I know of is the whole "Templars can't marry" schtick.

I'll take Josmael turning that one guy to ice, then Nyree shattering them. Setting Saarebas on fire still would have been a nice touch, however.

It actually was the last episode of Redemption. Redemption was just a six part web series.
But I'd like to see more web series.

Considering Spirit healers have never been able to bring a person back from the dead, your pizzalicious post makes no sense.
