Well It should change your view if you move the mouse to the edge of the screen. But I have never hear of it changing the direction the character is facing.

Of cource you can always trun off the Edge turning in the control Pannel. Under the "Controls" Option. On the same section you can also change how fast the screen turns. If your mouse moves to fast try adjusting the speed of you mouse driver.

Thanks for your reply. Mouse look as in what a lot of rpgs do. If you hold down one of your mouse buttons you can look around. That way when you release the button you can still interact with the interface.

I don't understand how people play with those first person mods without mouse look.

But NWN has no first person view - at least not without patching the binary!

That's NWN2 controls, dude.  This a NWN1 forum.  NWN1 is only 3rd person camera.  Period.  Or like Skildron stated, hack the exe so you could be the first on your block with that camera mode..

look again, dude,
nwn has a camera option called "driver setting" or the like and it puts you in first person.
but it blows because theres no way to loko around with your mouse.

and, homie, with 3rd peson mouselook is possible and useful. You're just aiming yopur character as you run, whether the camera is pulled back or 1st person doesn't matter. aka, WoW, EQ, or a lot of other RPGs

It would be awesome to have mouselook. It wouldn't be that hard to impliment.

Hold down the mouse wheel and move your mouse. It won't move your character, but it will shift your camera, a la WoW.

Driving mode doesn't give you a first person view. It just locks the camera behind your character. This may be a little bit closer to what you're used to in other RPGs. You can switch between camera modes on the fly by pressing * (on your number pad; Shift+8 doesn't work).

It's called "driving camera" mode and it turns your view if your character turns - it's like carrying a camera on your left shoulder. If you combine this with the first person view hack, you are as close as you can get to other CRPGs.
