I just started playing BG2 with my imported wild mage from BG1. Since I'm playing solo, I have way more gold/xp than I would have at this point otherwise (due to importing from BG1), and the main quest with Bodhi/Shadow Thieves is advancing too rapidly.
I'm absolutely sure Valen's offer (that I've already received) to meet Bodhi has a time limit (I want to side with her), and I've only done Copper Coronet interiors.
My question is this, since I'm on a time limit to accept Bodhi's offer, can I still do all quests and crap in the docks district AFTER siding with Bodhi? Or do I have to finish docks before meeting with Bodhi?
Does anyone know the exact time you have to meet Bodhi after Valen's proposal?

There is no time limit to meeting Bodhi (just go there at night with enough gold), and I'm pretty sure there is no time limit to completing Bodhi's quests once you do side with her (but since you don't have to rush to meet with her, I'd just hold off on that). I believe you can do everything in the Docks up until her last couple of tasks, but I don't know for sure.
There is a bug where some of the scripting for spawning Bodhi in the graveyard when you have enough gold can fail (related to Garrick in the Temple district), although this is fixed in the fixpack. (This can make it seem like you ran out of time if you try to do it later in the game, but it's really just a silly bug.)

If you side with Bhodi, you can probably still finish Mae'Var's guild, but you cannot return to Renal Bloodscalp for the reward. The entire thieve's guild will be hostile. Finish Mae'Var', collect Renal's reward, loot every chest in both thieve's guilds, only then side with Bhodi.
On that note, finish buying whatever you want from the shopkeeper in Mae'Var's guild before the final quest from Renal, which will make Mae'Var's guild hostile.

Coo, that's exactly what I wanted to know.
It also seems there isn't any time limit to meeting bodhi, as said. I rested 19 days to test it out, and bodhi still met me.
