Boy am I tired.  I'm a page away from being done with my paper, but before that some stupidity I've been sitting on.

If Mass Effect squadmates were alcoholic beverages, what would they be?

JACK: Jagerbomb.  Has a 50/50 chance of either knocking you on your ass or giving you wiiiiiings...

GRUNT: Everclear.  He is pure alcohol; you should be in awe!

KASUMI: Plum wine.  A Japanese import that's charmingly sweet, it surprises you with its spice and can't help but warm you from the inside.

MORINTH: Undiluted absinthe.  Historically notorious, it was a symbol of enlightenment and decadence.  It destroyed just as many artists as it inspired.  A dangerous brew that sounds like a really fun idea until it fries your brains and you die.

THANE: Diluted/commercial absinthe.  Only dangerous in large quantities, and hey, it's green.  Just don't put too much in your mouth unle--OH GOD I CAN SEE FOREVER.

SAMARA: Cabernet sauvignon.  Dry as hell, but full-bodied.  Its complex flavors and aromas take time to fully appreciate.  Definitely got better with age.

I'd do more, but, you know, paper.

Zaeed - either Moonshine or Wild Turkey. Both are really strong, burn, and are hard to swallow.
Mordin - Tequilla. If you have too much you'll end up confused and on the floor.

Kaidan - Bud. It will do the job, but is pretty tasteless, and you never pick it when you have other options.
Jacob - Bud Light. Like Bud, only less able inspiring.
Mordin - Mead. You always underestimate it, then wake the next morning up going "what the hell hit me?"

For the obscene amount of money put into each package for a provocative palette of rich, sophisticated flavors that become more complex as time goes on. A dessert wine in a class above the majority's reach and wallet.
Jack: Amarone
Bitter, takes some getting used to but has a rich depth if one is willing to spend enough time with it. A bottle easily overlooked for something cheaper.
Mordin: 5 hour energy drink spiked with Red Bull.
Never let it be said that you don't come up with creative and fun ideas, 'Cheez.

Ashley's beer, too. Dark one.

Wrex is vodka. classic, rather simple, but you'd better not mess with that. Heavy hitting as well. Grunt is 100% ethanol in this case.

Mordin is white wine mixed with iced coffee, redbull, and cleaning fluid and spiked with cocaine and liquid tar heroin. Probably nasty, definitley illegal, and a bit of a cloaca.
