They both have their pros and cons. But when it comes down to it, I think it just depends on who you prefer as who you will choose as the "better" Spectre.

The way Ashley killed Wrex, I think that she has no problem killing if she feels it necessary.

So I am going to say Kaiden. I feel he would be more level headed and passive before pulling the trigger. Which is why I chose him, as well as I prefer him because of those qualities.

But seriously: I believe Kaidan and Ashley are pretty much even, although both prefer different strategies to get the job done. Kaidan is - at least in my eyes - a more diplomatic dude, representing a mostly paragon way while Ashley is a woman of action. She's more paragade but no way renegade.

So if I had two votes, I would give one for Kaidan and one for Ashley and not two votes for Ashley.

I agree completely.  Normally I vote for Kaidan in most polls, since he's my favourite squaddie and romance, but I refuse to vote in this poll because I think they'd both be brilliant in different ways.

My vote goes to Kaidan.
Ash is a great soldier, but she doesn't have the right skills to be a spectre. Kaidan is perfect as a spectre. Capable, reasonable, and responsible. That's what's needed for a great spectre.

I disagree. Spectres can be however they want and use whatever tactics they want, as long as they get the job done. He is powerful and more than capable of handling things himself, so he is fit for the role. Other wise he wouldn't be Spectre material. I think he would just go about it differently. He can be more subtle though, which can come in handy.

IMO being passive and level headed first and foremost does not mean he cannot do his duties properly.

I think Kaiden would do well under pressure BECAUSE of being so passive and level headed. He is cool and collected, calm and confident. He of course would use force if he deemed it necessary. And he would wipe the floor with anyone who doesn't back down. But he would think of other options too.

At least, that is how I view it. I could be wrong though. I just think that impulsiveness and force are not the only way to do things. I agree with Feena. He is reasonable and responsible.
