I hate to sacrifice people, so I don't think I would be able to make that kind of decision or I would have to really think about and consult you'r guys what you would think about it.

The Geth are a threat to humanity. Their unlimited numbers and powerful fleets should be watched. The Quarians are far to weak to be a threat to us in the forseeable future. So i would take out the geth

sacrifice Quarians.
Geth are gonna be more useful towards rebuilding after the Reapers are done.

You people are way too eager to sacrifice things. A real man doesn't need to make sacrifices to win. He just wins.

I would "sacrifice" the geth everytime as they can just avoid death easely.

Geth. I would never sacrifice the Quarian people, I love them too much

My Shep doesn't sacrifice anybody until he's forced to. Who would he sacrifice? We don't have anywhere close to enough information to make a drastic decision like that yet. You may prefer, for instance, to sacrifice Geth, but what if the Geth hold some kind of key to beating the Reapers?
No speculation without data. Simple rule. Never broke it.

From a practical point of view the geth will always be at risk of reaper control, i wouldn't want to choose, but if i had to, It'd be the Geth i sacrificed.
"Everyone" is at risk of reaper control. Geth by hacking, organics by indoctrination and huskification. We'll be fighting our own either way.

I'd sacrifice the geth because they are not living beings and thus their "lives" have no value.

Although I think the quarians are a lesser race, you can't fully trust the Geth... But even I have to choose, I wouls sacrifice the former.

Funny.
If Legion didn't exist, neither would this thread.
True. That said, he was a very interesting character and we learned more about the geth from just talking to him than we did in two games worth of fighting them... which I think was the point.
That said, if I had to choose between the two I'd choose to keep the Geth and that's saying a lot because I generally like the Quarians (especially Tali) but the Geth simply have a lot more to offer in the fight against a Reaper invasion IMO.
However, I don't think the game will force that choice on us though. I think one of the options is to get a genuine peace between the Geth and Quarians when the Quarians can land their noncombatant on the homeworld while the flotilla joins the rest of whatever fleet is going to take the fight to the Reapers along side the Geth. Though there are ways to make bad choices I'm sure where the Geth and Quarians still fight it out and/or a renegade option where Shep advocate the two fight.

To be honest I will try to negotiate a peace between them and try to save both of them if the game lets me. If that isn't possible then I will play it by ear and see what has transpired in ME 3 up to that point. I can't make that decision based on the first two games so I will have to see how things play out in ME 3 regarding the geth and quarians before I choose a side if I am indeed forced to choose a side.

Sacrifice them both. Grab what ever quarians you can carry and leave the rest behind. The geth can rebuild at the most they only lose hardware.

The Geth are functionally immortal as long as they have back ups so it'd be the best choice to sacrifice them if you're just trying to save the most lives.

Bring them together in an orgy of happiness and other good feelings.

The Geth are an acceptable loss. Every damn one of them.
Quarians? Not really valuable. However, Tali probably wouldn't appreciate it, so of course I'd save them.

1. Sacrifice geth, save quarians.
2. I have a single geth on a flash drive.
3. Put it onto computer, let it multiply to sapience.
4. ???
5. PROFIT!

I'll sacrifice humanity instead for creating the band of retards known as Cerberus.
Edit: assuming equal strategic advantage, I'd allow the Geth to die because they are a greater threat to humanity in a Post-Reaper galaxy. Quarians would make an excellent client-species.

Geth; it would be easier to preserve the Geth, as it is; Quarians are much harder to repopulate.
