No matter what all i seem ot be able to do is anger the dwarf into a fight.  How much persuasion//intimidate do I need to get the job done here?

I had about 3 on my human noble. On first attempt I tried to threaten him and he just attacked me, but on second time I reasoned with him and he came to help after less than minute of chatting.
