Is it ok to make backup DVD's and if so, how is it done (Disk 1 ISO is over 7GB)

If the game is registered to your account (and I see it is) then you have a digital backup. You can always download the digital copy from Origin when you log in to your EA account you used to register ME2. If you don't like Origin because of all the surrounding controversy I guess making a backup isn't that bad as long as you keep using your original product key. I don't know which software to use, though, and I also don't know if here is some sort of copy protection.

I have 3 copies of ME2 ... one digital version with D2D, one with STEAM and I just bought/installed a DVD version. The two digital versions gave erroneous dowloads and I tried downloading the STEAM verison 2-3 times but to no avail so I bought the DVD version and it works great.
I went to EA and to Origin ... where is the section that has the digital DLC ? I can save a copy to my games HDD rather than burning the DVD's

I don't know if Origin has Bioware DLC, probably not; I'd guess you'll still have to get those here.
