Let me just first say that yes - this IS a rant full of unapolegetic rage, hate, disgust, and disappointment like you would never believe. If you could see my eyes right now, you'd be  all like, 'Oh my gosh, he's full of rage, hate, digust, and disappointment right now.' So now that's out of t he way let's get to the details.

You guys made DA2 combat far more fluid than Origns to the point where it's addicting? Screw you! I've played this game twice so far and am still not bored it. It's revolting how many hours I put into this game and all of those hours of fun I can NEVER get back. I expected combat to be more clunky and less responsive and I deserve that. How dare you take that away from me?

You had MORE interesting characters in DA2 than in Origins? I don't think you understand that I ENJOYED not having so many good characters. You HAVE to have at least one uninteresting character so that it's easier to choose who to leave out of your party. Now I have to CHOOSE who to uset? I don't like it. Also, having certain characters I don't like allows me to circumvent my hatred onto those characters for reflective moments. You took reflective moments away me!!!!(x10)

And don't get me started on the story and lore. It's such a joke. I mean really, I love dragons. I love Templars. I love Mages. I even love the whole overarching theme of Templars vs Mages and the bit with the Arishok, but did you really JUST HAVE to spell Meredith's name starting with a ' M ?' Does every freaking single name HAVE to be capitalized in this world? Every other story capitalizes the names of people and places! You can't do anything different for a change?

If it weren't for these STRIKING issues in the game, I would give it a GREAT review, but apparently, you guys messed up big. Hopefully in Dragon Age 3, you'll learn from this post specifically. Maybe have a dev meeting and talk about my points with the crystal intent of fixing all of the above.

I expect more from you guys.

I'm sorry you enjoyed Dragon Age 2. Perhaps Bioware's next offering will be more disappointing for you. That being said, this feedback would be better off in the official review and criticism thread.

Oh you. *rolls eyes*

I agree how dare they make a game so fun and addictive. Why I'm still playing it even now 7 months later. That's not all they keep doing it. Those DLCs are even worse or is it better? I confused myself.

I must agree. They do have a lot of nerve. I have plenty of other games I could be playing right now. Lots of big titles only weeks away, and here I am doing another damn playthrough of this game. Fargin' Bastages.

A completely pro-DA2 thread?!

*faint*

P.S. I am also addicted... seems like even the haters must be too since there's so many of them posting here seven months after its release.

I hate 'em too.  Husband's commandeered the television to play DAO for the umpteenth time while I want to finish Valkyria Chronicles.  Shame on them for making replayable games.  :P

I plan to totally boycott Bioware for several months after DA3 comes out. That'll show 'em!

Well put, Danyu. Even if it has a great deal of...

The game isn't perfect, but it has several new elements that I think worked to its benefit. Thank you for the thread.

Fluid? "Swooooooooosh!". I get it, they are on skates (or there is oil on the ground). Unrealistic and naive would be my choise of words for the combat but hey, thats just me.

8 hours without whining in a DA2 thread - is that a record?

After five runs, I have finally stopped playing DA2.

... so I can go back to DAO and make another save to import. *headdesk*

Yes, I know about the save generator and it's great, but it just doesn't feel right to me if I haven't 'really' made that series of decisions in game. I was unhappy with some of the choices in my City Elf run so I'm doing the whole thing over.

I realised the other day that come next week I'll have been a Dragon Age addict for two whole years. Curse you BioWare! Serendipitously, I have a day off work ...

Ha, I like this thread.

And I quite agree, how dare those scoundrels make a game that I still enjoy playing several months later. For shame!

My Computer hates DA2, because I'm a screenshot addict, and I have sooo many screenies of this game that I had to add more ram to my pc. Now I can't decide which shots to keep and which to delete, but I better do it soon or I won't be able to install DA3.

I love this game and the more I play it,( 8 times), the more I love it. Repeat dungeons, multiplying enemies, don't bother me, it's the story, the dialogues, and the romances that I crave, also, I'm playing a mage for the first time in any Bio game, and it's great fun!

I never played a mage in Origins, nor any other game that offers it. But in DA2 it's my favourite class now! Bioware did something right there...

BTW, I love this thread! Finally a bunch of people that go nuts for DA2!

Thank you for this thread. I really enjoy DA2. I recently restarted DA:O (to get a Mage Play through save for DA2) and it was only then did I realise how much more I preferred DA2.
The Warden felt more like a puppet then I remembered, there is no competetion between the Warden and Sarcastic Lady Hawke

That's right, new games are a few weeks away. Roughly two weeks until Skyrim. Heard good things about it.
