Dear Bioware,

I hate your guts. I hate the ME series with a passion. I mean they are such deplorable games. Shephard is such a boring character. And then there is Origins. I truly hate this game. I hate my warden and all of the companions...well truly I love Wynne. But the worst was Leliana. I hated her with a passion. And the romance my warden had with her was pathetic. And don't get me started on the story of Origins. It was boring and short and I just couldn't bring myself to play that game 15 times. It was truly a work of idiocy that was mind numbing. And then DA2 came out. I've played it 6 times and only hated two of the playthroughs. While I would really like to hate this game...I can't. I would truly like to love it...I can't. I mean I loved the combat and the paratrooping enemies. I hated the details in the graphics. I hated a lot of the story elements, but I loved the way a lot of it tied together. The companions? I hate Varric with a passion. He has no sense of humor, and that crossbow of his...just ugh. The others were ok...I guess, But while I loved other characters like Orsino I hated the Arishok. But then the dlc's came out. You morons. Those were the worst. I hate both of them. I loved the reused areas in DA2 and you took them away. And the details in Legacy and MotA were horrendous. I mean did you really have to expand the lore so much? I was totally bored and cannot believe I played them both multiple times...I must be insane.

So in closing Bioware I hate your guts and hope you die. May that horrible romance with Leliana never return for my warden (who I would love to see again). And while Hawke is ok, I really hate the idea of a new protagonist in any future games. And may Shepherd rot and never return; I love that his story will be over with the release of ME3.

This game sickens me! The unique looks of all my companions make them much more remember able then any of my former companions! This is unacceptable! Unique homes for them as well? You know I like to get my character development in one area with all my companions at arm's length! What's this? DLC that adds wonderful amounts of story and unique variation from the original game? Blasphemy, I want more of the same!

Combat that was improved? What happened to nostalgia, where's my shield bash that knocks those Darkspawn on their butts. And about that, ARTISTIC DESIGNS? I WANT ALL MY NPCS TO NOT HAVE A UNIQUE LOOK. I like having Generic Blood Mage 11 be reborn as Generic Antivan Crow 1-23 !

What is this? You're listening to my opinions? What's wrong with you! The best games are only made by never adhering to customer complaints and if you have to, consider them complete idiots and go against their wishes 120%! That's 20 percent more awesome!

Bioware, why did you remove the ability for me to speak with my companions at any time in DA2?! Why make it a quest? This is extremely immersion breaking for me (and everyone else that plays RPGs). In a real RPG (DAO), I should be able to click on a companion ANYTIME, ANYWHERE and initiate conversation. I'm not stupid, I know that 90% of the time, my companion will have nothing new to say but I spent all my hard earned money on this game!

I'm extremely disappointed in the company Bioware has become. I've been playing your games since Pacman, Donkey Kong, Pole Position, Missile Command, Centipede, and Defender. These were true RPGs. You all have sold your souls just to make your games appeal to a larger, more modern audience.

Well enough is enough. I will never bi another Buyoware game again. You guys better get your resumes together because when I speak, I speak ... FOR THE ENTIRE GAMING COMMUNITY.

I hate you Bioware. You made DAO, you are guilty of making a masterpiece of RPG that caught me like a hurrican. I felt in love with Morrigan, Leliana, Alistair was driving me made with his naive behaviour, still i loved him like a brother, Sten, if i have had the possibility to smash a mace on your head, i would have done that and now im missing you like mad.
Bioware i hate you, you were responsible for my 10+ playthroughs in Origins, i blame you for all my precious time that i have could use otherwise than just playing Origins.
And then, as i thought "finally, i have explored every bit of DAO + Awakening" you made DA2. No, please not again, i wanted to be free, please no more such addictive RPG. 
And my dreams came true, i Love You Bioware, thank you very much for the repetitive caves and mansion. I explored it in no time. Thank you for railroading the story and taking away all decisions, it was like a fresh breeze of air. It took me only 2 playthrough to see all of the game. Thank you, you gave me my freedom back.

I guess you forgot the other part of my posts that said there are other threads for praise and criticism of the game, and this one is just extra forum spam, perhaps you fell victim to that pesky IQ drop that I meantioned earlier.  It is not relevant whether this thread is about admiration or criticism, I guess you missed the point.

Really?? :O So, if I order a hundred more copies of Mass Effect 3, for instance, I can get the game by December 31st of this year? That's my anniversary, and I'm pretty sure my husband would be thrilled for me to completely ignore him so I can get back to my game buddies and ME1 romance.  :innocent: Awesome.

It was Open Bar Day at the office and a whole bunch of us kinda let the celebration get out of hand. The next thing we knew, we had created many new characters and put them in the game. The last time this happened, Baldur's Gate II was created.

Any ways, people are just blowing off steam (no different than the hate threads, well except for being a bit more polite) and having fun. Who cares? I would have probably liked DA2 if it had been a stand alone, but compared to it's predecessor it just feels underwheliming.  Catharsis FTW.
