I, a connoisseur of fine f/f/ romances, was pretty bummed that I had to actually think about who my Hawke would romance based on character compatibility and crap like that instead of just blindly picking 'dat one bisexual chick'.

I hate choices.

Agreed. Also, could we have more blocky characters of the N64 console era? I was vastly irritated by the smoothness of the character models and the beauty of the scenery. Srsly, Bioware. *unhappyface*

The 8 Bit models are vastly superior to that on the N64 era. I demand an 8 bit Beard or else.

I hate how the game doesn't have shapeshifter or ranger.

Wait I think I'm doing it wrong...

I'm wrong, 8-Bit would be so much better.

I know exactly what you mean... well maybe not "exactly". For me it's a m/m romance but I'm with you in spirit.

I actually had to think about it. Not just get stuck (pun intended, I regret nothing!) with the only gay in the village (I recant, I regret it). After I picked there was even lingering doubts about if I made the right choice. And when I played the game for the forth time I was able to take advantage (see above comments in parentheses) of someone different as a LI.

Curse you Bioware *shakes fist in the air again* for allowing me to finally feel included and emotionally engaged by a romance.

*applauds* Awesome. I also get so tired of people whining  that DA2 feels too "cool" and them wanting more "traditional" (clunky) gameplay. And about how it's not as "epic" (generic) as Origins. The only part I disagree on is the characters, I actually found the Origins characters a bit more interesting (though I love the DA2 cast as well.) I was wondering where all the fellow DA2 fans were, glad to know they exist! :wizard:

On that note how dare bioware tempt me a straight girl to actually try out an f/f romance (Merrill) just because I wanted another reason to play a new playthrough.
How dare you give me varaity bioware (Shakes fist!).

Low-res texture pack will be mandatory, day -1 DLC costing 12,000 points. Every character will be trisexual and so easily romanceable, even looking at them or opening their character screen will cause them to sleep with you, giving you negative follower approval points.

I'm not enjoying this thread at all. I hate all you demanding, entitlist fanraging tr0llb0iz. Keep up the bad work, ladies and gentlemen...and filthy hippies! :)

@Fidget6: Your logic and reason are too well spoken. MOAR INCOHERENT RAEG!

Oh and darned you BIoWare for providing enjoyable games since I was a young tean. Rage tear tantrum. Still need that sequel to Shattared Steel or should I accept that you have betrayed your long time old school hardcore robot simulator crowd for the easy to please RPG click happy group?

I don´t hate bioware

In my opinion they should have sticked with the warden

their choices and views about DA franchise and not focus on a single character

is just well ...........Strange.

Nope, we've only intentionally betrayed you, the paying customer, because we only care about making money now. :P

Stop it! Stop it! If this thread gets any more awesome it could acquire sentience and try to take over the world. People could die. KITTENS COULD DIE!!!

Think of the kittens and stop this madness.

Edit: Never mind I think this kind of fun hate filled tangent is worth the risk.

Dear Bioware,

Having played all of your glorious games of the past (BG and stuff...) I am astounded that you even considered letting this game get past pre-development.

I do not get to kill a dragon and save the world! I only get to kill a dragon and get awesome loot I can actually USE! How COULD you!

And don't get me started on the responsive dialogue and my character actually evolving as a personality. I like my blank slate avatars with one expression (O_o), so all of those smooth animations and gorgeous cinematics have to GO!

And no happily ever after ending? You mean you did NOT write this story to boost my deflated ego? How DARE you actually make me cry in Act III? This is not supposed to happen, I demand chest pounding and an epilogue telling me how my character is the bestest thing since the invention of the cheese wheel!

And what's with the mage combat being BADASS now instead of looking like yoga moves with a staff? The GALL!

I still haven't found the Awesome Button. You CAN'T just make a promise like that and then come up with a combat system I actually enjoy!

And the DLC! Maker's breath, DLC with REPLAY value? Tied into the main game? Are you friggin' INSANE?

DAII making me miss my gaming rig after I moved to Ireland? Counting the days until I get to play it again while TW2 is collecting dust in my apartment back in Austria? Capital offense!!!

I will never recover from this slight and NEVER forgive you for this.

So....where's that DAII expansion I can get mad about? C'mon, gimme a reason to despise you even more!

Truer words have never been spoken typed. Truly, you Ser are a genius among men (not the elves though). The prophet of a new generation of higher thinkers. We are at the dawn of a new age of enlightenment and this new age shall be called
"The BIOWEAR NO MAKE BAD GAMEZ Age". I feel a chill up my spine. I think I'm going to cry.

@Persephone, Quite true. I demand more obligatory chest pounding. Furthermore, if Hawke doesn't throw a hot chick down onto the hood of a sports car and make out with her in the next DLC I'm not going to buy it. I'm certainly not going to play it 3 times in 24 hours like I did on the last one. Or get so excited about it I call up my sister so she can fully understand just how much unadulterated awesome she's missing out on.

I would like to volunteer to be the motion capture actor for the "throwing hot chick down onto the hood of a sports car and making out with her" animations. It might take days, but I'm sure I'll do a good job...eventually.

So, are there any griffins in this scene? If not, I'm not gonna buy it. :wizard:

Well you do have your work cut out for you. Since we do have to allow for Hawke to make out with both genders. You'll want to stock up on breath mints.

Stupid sexy Bioware. I really wish you stupid sexy devs would stop talking to us in the forums and responding to the fans directly. Thats something only small and up and coming devs are allowed to do, not time proven big name developers. Every response and sign of taking time out of the day to chat with us is a bad sign. You're supposed to be soulless automatons who run on tears and pain.

Also if you're going to even bother responding to us, at least stop joking around and having fun with us. You are professionals who are adults, as an adult you are supposed to hate video games and everyone that plays them. You're not supposed to enjoy playing the games you make and enjoy discussing the lore, mechanics, and characters with the fans on a one on one level.

I'm afraid you'd be just too much man for any one women to handle. Best to get three actresses for the motion capture so you don't end up hurting anyone. Also your selflessness is an inspiration to us all.

We are every bit the unfeeling mindless shills of a faceless money-grubbing corporation. I'm only talking to you because you have bought the game, lined my pockets with cash, and helped me to buy my solid gold yacht. Get a job, ya filthy hippie! :P
