Truth, the best part is, if it actually pointed out negatives in the game it would have been locked, but because its an I love you Bioware post, it doesnt.

There are threads stickied to post positives and negatives about the game, I suggest people use those instead of making themselves look like drooling morons.

I say after eight months of DA2 bashing threads, let the people who like the game have their fun.

The bashing will likely continue until they redeem themselves by making a quality product, and no, I dont mean by making 2 hour DLC packs for 10 bucks.

Its a great disservice to anyone who hasnt played the game to come in and read this thread, they could get misled into thinking the game was a quality product when it was far from it.

Again, this thread should be locked and the praise or criticism should into their proper topic threads.

If by more depth to the Qunari, you mean adding big stupid horns, you're right.  Lots of depth to the Qunari.  Enjoyed the armor that looked like stolen wicker lawn furniture too.

Different type of story:  boring [frogspit] that makes you loathe to take a side because both factions stink on ice.  Yes, the story was very different.  First Bioware game I've never wanted to replay..and first Bioware game that I didn't want to play the expansion pack.  More different stories like this and I'll probably never bother with one of their games again.

Sorry, couldn't took gushing undeserved praise in this thread anymore.  This game, without my personal disgust factoring in at the new design and dumbing down of game play, barely rates a 6 out of 10.  Nothing says I don't care by a developer like reused maps and a boring city that doesn't change over almost a decade.  End fight that had me laughing from the sheer pathetic stupidity.  You guys are gushing on this just to be obnoxious.  Enough.  For a new designer, I would give it a meh, and hope they got more funding for a real effort next time.  For Bioware, I'm just embarrassed.  It's like they pulled this out of someones desk and threw it together over a long weekend.  Their past games were crafted; this was slapped together with elmer's glue and construction paper. 
Bouncing a  tennis ball against a wall can be a lot of fun, but it's not the greatest game ever.  Just because you really like something doesn't mean it's better than anything else; this game barely rates an average.  Enough already.

Though generally worth noting is a bib tends to go around the neck, while yours is attached to your ankle.

I am surprised at this thread being here given it [granted is not] here to suck the genitals of the developers or pump up their egos as such, but because it is clearly a digg at those who have voiced [to those people] valid criticism of the product they paid for.

It is in essence an attack on people not product in how it is being worded in here.I think it needs an end of the line and closure because it is not a positive thread in how it is being worded. It is a negative thread based on the principle of degrading and belittling those who have opposing opinions about it not being the greatest thing Bioware have ever made or even in recent history and certainly not the second coming of Jesus or best thing since sliced bread.

There are the "We love you Bioware/DA2" threads already that are done in more respectable manner than this one and also the "We hate you Bioware/DA2" threads that are the same. This one needs to be locked down imho.

I'm most surprised to see Bioware employee's taking part in the ridiculing of the people who buy their games to be honest. I don't expect much from the playerbase but kind of expect more from the developers. I hate you Bioware for providing a compelling protagonist for half the game in the Arishok, I hate you for providing a well rounded view of an alternate religion that allowed players to formulate their own view about rather than demonising.

I've criticized DA2 a lot, just as I did DA:O and ME2. I just never got personal about it. I don't accuse fans of the game of having oral sex with the game makers or being drooling morons, even if they, gawd forbid, thought it was perfect.
