Hello Guys (and Girls XD)!

Im a n00b in this forum, but i had recently finished for the third time Dragon Age Origins and Awakening (only once DA2), and i had that thought in my mind for a while now:

A lot of us have been thinking of the Options:

Warden and Hawke are just legendary guys who will never come around in the third Game.
They'll be Npcs
They'll be Companions (but not the protagonist)
You can Choose one of the Two to be a Protagonist and the other will be a Companion

But What if, you Have to Choose One and a Storyline.... Example:

I Choose The Warden and i will Side with the Mages.

Then the Templars will recruit the Champion of Kirkwall and use him as his big General against the Horrible, Horrible Mages???

It will be Kind of Tragic, Sad and MARVELOUS to have to fight (probably to the dead) one of the heroes you grown fond with... The Companions against the Companions, Morrigan vs Merril, Sten vs Fenril, etc... Who will Anders Side with??? (Having in Consideration he "likes" hawke but the Warden saved him).

Probably just lunatic Nonsense, but hell, what do you think?!

Sorry for my really bad English redaction Skills, im still learning the Language :P

Bioware has stated that DA3 will have a new protagonist.

It would be a glorious battle, one for the bards to sings tales about for the ages. For my Warden and Hawke it would probably just come down to a dance off that would finish in a tie. Then it would morph into a drinking contest. Hawke would win but they'd both end up dieing from alcohol poisoning.

If it did come down to a vs. brawl I could finally see who was better Dog or Dog.

The developers have also said that The Warden and Hawke may appear in the third Dragon Age game, simply not as the protagonist.

I just don't wanna see both Warden and Hawke becoming a boss fight or something on these lines.

If so, don't even bother bringing then back...

First of all, my Warden would kick my Hawke's ass too easily. Second, the most I could see the Warden reappearing is by being portrayed as some vaguely shady cloaked legend, whose face isn't shown, and doesn't speak. BioWare could go the different route and impress the Hell out of all of us by letting us load in DA:O save data, but I don't see that happening.

i don´t like the vs thing considering that i hope that my warden and hawke would be brothers in arms and it would be up to them to stop the mage/templar war. you could choose who to play as.

Warden vs Hawke.

Legendary solver of problems vs a legendary screw up.

I want the warden. As awesome as Hawke is he's not *mine*. That was the whole appeal of origins when they were talking about it all those years ago. The whole make your person from scratch and that is why I love my warden so much, because I made him who he is from the ground up and HE WAS EPIC!

What's with this idiocy of always wanting to kill-off Hawke from the Dragon Age series. The Warden by now should be dead. Hawke still has a lot of years to live.

The same thing about ppl saying "enough with the Warden!".

Opinions, just that, some prefer one to the other.

PS: the Warden is only dead if he died slaying the archdemon, otherwise, even after the 10 years of DA2, he still has at least 20 years to live (after the joining, the average life expectancy to a Warden is 30 years). If the Warden should be dead, so is Alistair, and yet he makes an appearence in the last act of DA2.

Around 20 years after the ending of DA2 (the ending being the cinematic, where Cassandra talks with Leliana). Same thing for Alistair, Anders, Oghren, Nathaniel etc, even Bethany for exemple...

To be more exatc:

19 years for Alistair
20 for the Warden
21 for Anders, Oghren, Nathaniel, Sigrun, Velanna...
22 for Bethany/Carver.

Edit: thinking about it, would be cool to see in a game Alistair and the Warden going to their callings together. This would be epic, both from the history/game and from the emotional point of view.

The Warden is dead to me, what was fun about being bound to an order anyway? I like freedom over cliche commitments. ^^

OP my warden's and my hawke's are pro mages.. they do not have any conflict aside that the Warden's are in an order and Hawke is not.
My warden's sees Wynne as an exemple of not every mage is evil by nature or just want power,
Hawke because she is a mage or because of Bethany. So no Neither my warden or hawke will fight agasint each other for mages/templars conflict... they'll fight for Alistair/Fenris/Anders though. do that count? :P

Just let the DA 3 player character repeatedly kick Hawke in the groin for every 'clever' sarcastic line he throws around. GotY of ALL YEARS!

Hmm....

Dificult to say. Personal Canon Hawke: Female Spirit Healer.

Hawke will win one for certain, as City Elf origin does Ultimate Sacrifice.
No competition from a second, as Hawke and Selena are cousins. AND Spirit Healers.
Unlikely any compitition from a third, Neria (Elf Mage/SH) doesn't care for fighting.
Dalish Elf Origin vs Hawke? *shudders* This guy took on all of Zevran's ambush Solo and won.
Human Noble vs Hawke: Dificult battle, but the HNF would win, being Templar.

I think their the same age.The warden just past lothering, when Hawke and family had to flee.
