well he did use magic but doesnt mean he cant cast spells on non magic users, but im pretty sure it was 200 years ago since wardens were banished from fereldan and anvernus was there. I think the 30 you are talking of is for 30 years grey wardens have been back in fereldan

No, he says something like "you will live 30 years, give it our take it..."

And from the Wikia:

http://dragonage.wik...ens#The_Calling

i played dragon age origins again its 30 years since the wardens came back because it was 30 years orlesians ended the rule and the king  brought the order back, the warden commander before sophia dryden was about 60 when he went for his calling, sophia is the great great grandmother of levi dryden so avernus is easily over a hundred because he was a young man when he was fighting side by side with her

I think you are confusing something.

There is a conversation with Alistair after one of your nightmares where he states that all wardens lives up around 30 years after their joining.

It doesn't matter the age. If you join at 50's, you will do the calling around 80's, if you join on your 30's, your calling will be around yours 60's and so on.

Avernus cheated this with blood magic.
From the wikia:

"  The Calling begins with nightmares or voices from the Old Gods, the same "call" the darkspawn hear to search for the Old Gods, approximately 30 years after their joining. According to ritual, the Grey Warden descends underground and celebrate before entering the Deep Roads to slay as many darkspawn as they can before being overwhelmed and slain. "

I tried to find some video about this talk we have with Alistair but all i got was fangirls videos about him...

But it would be cool if someone from DA team could clarify this.

it doesnt matter what i think or what you think the dragon age team can change it at any time, example lelianna was a seeker now shes not a seeker just so more stuff can be written about her.

but anyway my main point is that 30 years doesnt have to be, if anvernus can use blood magic to live that long there is no reason why he cant use it to teach other mages this and cast spells on the non mage wardens as well to extend it over the 30 years

I'd rather think of DA3 as something Diablo 2-like, and by this I mean:

What about if the Warden is being revered as an Archdemon by the darkspawn (since he killed one and thus demonstrated he is far superior than the Old Gods) or he becomes consumed by the taint in his blood, thus making him "evil"...

I know this is nuts but I'd love to see Alistair and the others fight against that godlike hero who once protected the world, alone, as he always was in his fate. Not without that epic dramatic "touch" of having them watch as he decays and turns into an antihero (not villiain).

Personally I'd love to see the warden kick everybody's ass, lol.

It'd be great if we get choose whether we want to play as new character or as Warden. However, I want to play the DAseries [as the Warden] if it's done in DAO - and not DA2 - style.

His and Morrigan's story is not over [for me]. But I guess that BioWare will screw this up anyway.

Hawke: Do what I say.
Warden: No.
Hawke: Well crap. I tried.

Speaking of which, the Warden could argue with Sten and eventually get him to change his views, Hawke probably couldn't

What I think would be pretty cool is if you play as both through a dual narrative, and as the game eventuates, depending on the choices you make, The Warden/Hawke may end up as allies or as rivals.

I'd love to see my Warden and Hawke appear in the third game, Not as the main protagonist, But as cameos or maybe important characters that are trying to acomplish something that will give the new main character a boost in his quest to end or support the mage and templar war.

I also want my choices to matter, Both Origins and the second game.

Bioware has stated that DA3 will have a new protagonist.

Exactly. Anyone who thinks the Warden will be a playable character is wrong. His/her story is done and it would be very difficult to transfer that character over into the newer games due to engine and art changes. I mean, just look what happened to Alistair. It was a ****ing disaster. Image IPB
