id rather have it work that way. much like the omnitool animation, id like to stab a medigel needle into someone to reive them. instead of hiding in cover and hitting unity which revives someone 30 feet away.

As I read on the spanish review there will be concrete objectives per mission advancing slowly towards it, it's not just kil-kill-kill-kill.... but yeah, it seems that combat has been focused that way.StonedVolus wrote...
While I enjoy modes such as Firefight and Horde mode, I don't think it should be all wave after wave stuff.
Also they didn't really go into detail on the objectives, so I assume that while there will be constant enemies, there will be things to do during that.
They also say that each mission is about 20 mins long.

I was kinda hoping for indefinite. Like go as long as you can. Although we don't fully know the co-op mode yet, so maybe that will be for some missions.Feanor_II wrote...

Not really. Some of the articles (GameInformer, RockPaperShotgun) are very positive for example.Ultai wrote...
Seems to be a general lukewarm or meh reaction all around to it.

It's interesting that some of the previews mention powers for the classes, including time-dilation powers such as Adrenaline Rush and Charge...I wonder how those will work?
Check F.E.A.R. 3 Co-Op.

.
But I didn't like one thing in thing in particular: here was latency issues, stuttering animations, questionable AI... kinks that definitely need to be worked out.. It's from IGN preview. This concerns me... ME3 can't suffer from techical problems like ME1 did. What we hear is how old the demo builds are and how better it is now... it's not really much of a comfort. With that in mind, of the things that gives me confort in knowing from previews out there that ME2 development was somehow like this. It didn't feel to cohesive 6 months before the game arrived, and when it did, we got a masterpiece.

Overall we are seeing mixed reactions... what people saw didn't convince them multiplayer is necessary or even a good idea and that is ok. We have to see it for ourselves.

I don't trust IGN's previews very much. If it doesn't play like CoD, they have a hard time saying anything positive about it.

The thing is that this is not a IGN only feeling. A lot of people brought that up and as I said, even developers posted in topics here comments about this issues.

As I said above, I agree that this is a big deal. And other reviews essentially mentioned latency issues (even if they did not say latency, that is what they meant when they said the game is not fluid).
If the demo released in December is the same one shown to journalists, that is going to be a big, big problem. Technical issues like this in the MP demo could actually hurt SP sales, even though (and I still believe this) SP is not affected.

So wait, if SP Demo is great while MP is not good, game sale just for SP will still hurt?
As for complaints from press?
Polishing.

My bad. But if the technical issues are there, the problem is still the same.

Yes, that is definitely possible. I am not talking about diehard fans here. I am talking about new players looking at ME3 as the first one to play. Which is part of the point of this whole exercise here.
